We got our new build house from Melanie Construction. The work is really really good. Every one is so nice helpful caring understanding. The whole journey from selecting the things till closing went so smoothly and perfect. I am so happy. I just want to thank Melanie construction and the whole team for everything.

Me and my wife got our first home from Melanie construction. Extremely nice and helpful staff. The work they put in the house is non comparable to other builders. Our inspector couldn't find much during our pre delivery inspection. The closing date was as promised and went very smooth. Their work is just amazing!

June 2022:

We did our pre-delivery inspection today with Julien, and we honestly could not be happier… This company, is truly above and beyond… The workmanship, impeccable. We have dealt with our fair share of new builds, and not one comes close to the service we received, and the quality. Looks like we are stuck in Embrun or Russell for the rest of our days - since this is THE only builder we would trust for our family home.

We’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Melanie Construction. Julien, Renée, Valerie, Melissa, Fausto, Marc, Dimitri, Sebastien - they are all a joy to work with! We have truly designed the house of our dreams and it was a team effort! I will finally get the double fridge and mega pantry I always wanted! Ha ha! And my husband gets his triple car garage! It’s a win win! We will be taking possession on June 17th 2022. I will update with final pictures and quality of the build.

Moved into our new Melanie home October 2020, 3 days earlier than we were promised a year prior. No delays even through Covid! My husband and I moved into our new Georgia style home about 6 months ago and the house is functioning beautifully with no major issues whatsoever. We recently purchased a Melanie Construction home and could not be happier!

This is the only builder (that I know of) that lets you visit the house at any time throughout the building process. You can tell they take pride in their homes by looking at the quality and workmanship. Julien and his team truly built our dream home and exceeded all of our expectations.

We've been in our home for over a year now and the after care has been amazing so far. All 30 day and 1 year list items were addressed in a timely manner and everyone that has come to our home has been very friendly and competent.We are truly impressed with their service.

We have just gone through our one year Tarion warranty review with Melanie construction. We were hard pressed to even make a list of defects to be addressed. I cannot express to you how wonderful our experience was with Melanie construction. 1. Our house is GORGEOUS. We have purchased many new builds, and the craftsmanship of this home is incomparable.

Their staff is exceptional. From start to finish it’s been so professional, so easy and they respond so quickly.

They live up to their name! They are building on a reputation.. you will not be disappointed purchasing from them. It was worth the wait. Our home is a dream come true!!!

We have built new homes with three different builders - Tartan, Urbandale, and now Melanie Construction. There is absolutely zero comparison - Z.E.R.O. We built a custom home from one of the base plans. We made so many changes including structural ones and Julien and Renee embraced our changes and their pricing was definitely fair and reasonable. I work as an engineering consultant and have experience in construction and can confirm that any changes are priced accurately and fairly.

But material is only one component of a new home build. Construction quality is as important as the materials to be used - I would say even more important. The contractors they use have been with them for decades. They take pride in their craft. Small things like rounded corners for drywall, proper electrical terminations and labelling, walkthroughs during construction to ask questions or where contractors want to double check with you before it gets installed. I could go on with a long list of reasons why you should choose Melanie Construction. Let me put it this way - we had three items on our 30 day list. The day we submitted them, they scheduled the work the same week. Seriously - show me one other home builder that only has 3 things on their 30 day then fixes them the same week.

If you want the best quality home, customizable at a fair price, with great communication and top notch customer services and after sales support, Renee, Julien at Melanie Construction cannot be beat. This is not our first new construction home but it certainly is by far our best experience! In fact our experience with Melanie Construction was so positive that we didn’t have to think twice about buying a second property from them!
Julien was an absolute pleasure to work with and he walks you through the entire process from start to finish and is always accessible for questions and modifications. It is clear that he has great pride of ownership because he does everything in his power to ensure your house is everything that you imagined it would be and that the quality is exceptional. We moved into Sunset Flats three months ago and absolutely love the community and our new home built by Melanie Construction. Julian and Renée are wonderful people and were always ready to answer any questions we had leading up to our build, as well once we moved in. It is unusual that you have the owner of the company take the time to walk you through your brand-new home on closing day and personally bring you the keys and that is what Julian does, and we found that alone to be quite impressive. Customer service is top of mind to him, and to his team, and it certainly shows. We put our deposit for our new home in October 2019 with Melanie Construction and will be moving at the end of March 2021.

As most reviews are after purchase, we would like to share our experience in the midst of the build.

Every single team member at Melanie Construction have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are extremely detail and service oriented and always available to answer our questions.

With Covid19 happening during the process of our build, Melanie has kept us informed on any effects the pandemic may have on the process of our home build and have navigated their business with the utmost professionalism.

The selections of finishes have been amazing and their ability and desire to offer their buyers the utmost value and customization options has been excellent.

I own a home based business and Melanie has exceeded any expectations I had in making sure this element of our home is finished to the highest standard.

We will return with an additional review after we move in but if the last 13 months are of any reflection, we have no doubt that it will be just as positive!
