Treasures Music N’ Things

I had some time while working in Powell River so I thought I would check this place for some records. He has lots, but they are all very used and highly overpriced. I looked through lots of his records but had to leave. I returned later and found 2 I liked. Both with damaged covers. I attempted to bargain with the guy but we couldn’t meet on price. I said “Thank you” a proceeded to leave and he followed me shouting at me to never come back, and swore at me. I left a quick as I could as he didn’t want me to leave brcause he wanted to yell at me some more. All was good until I didn’t buy something. He should be shut down.

Owner continually pressured me to buy CD’s that were out of my price range, and when I refused, swore at us and told us to leave. Very disheartened because they did have quite a nice selection, but prices of everything are too high in here. Dismayed as I tried to be reasonable throughout our interaction and quickly left the store the second he asked, but he continued to hurl insults as we walked out the door. After how welcomed we have felt elsewhere along the Sunshine Coast, this has been a very sad way to end our trip.
