If I could give more stars I would. This print shop provided quick, affordable, high quality pattern printing. They offer multiple pick up and shipping CHOICES! They are SO nice and I will never have a pattern printed anywhere else again. Above and beyond customer service, I can’t say enough good things.

Loved it. First time there so it's a shame that they will be closing soon. Lovely staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Got the fabric I needed plus more. While I have never been into the store, I have ordered online several times and I can't say enough about how much I love ordering fabric from here. As a 'confident beginner' to sewing, I have had plenty of questions that they have been so helpful with answering and have even made some great suggestions of fabrics I could use for projects. I have loved every fabric I have bought from here. Also, I love reading the descriptions of the fabrics, they are quite fun and cheerful. Everything about this store is just so awesome!

I've never been to the shop in person but I've ordered online a few times and it's been great. The website is amazing, it has detailed specs, informative (and fun!) descriptions, a wide variety of stock, and fair prices, all of which are hard to find when fabric shopping! Shipping is fast, too. I love this place!

I attended the learn to sew for beginners class with Erin as the instructor, it was such an amazing experience. I learned so much about how to use the sewing machine, stitches, fabric and cutting. Everything I need to be able to make my own home decor. I had no experience going into the class and am confident that I will be able to set up my own sewing machine now.

Perfect place to get a PDF pattern printed, even if you don't live in Kitchener. Very quick to print and mail, packaging was great, and pattern arrived in perfect condition. Quality of the paper is very nice, sturdier than the usual tissue paper but still flexible.

I love using Spool & Spindle to get pdf patterns printed. I have tried both digital and physical patterns and I prefer getting a digital pattern and having it printed here. They are always super quick to print and have great availability for pick up.
I highly recommend this service to anyone who hates flimsy pattern tissue paper :)

I love spool and spindle-I always go here first whenever I'm looking for something for a fabric-based project! The staff are so knowledgeable and so excited to learn about your project so they can help you out! I love their curated selection of fabrics, but even on top of that they have every little bit and bob that an embroidery nerd like me could want! I always end up leaving with way more than I planned on buying, and it's always such a positive experience!

Small store but really well stocked with a lovely selection of garment focused fabrics and lots of indie patterns. The staff was very helpful and we're not judgy at all about my developing sewing knowledge. They have classes too that are offered in the evening since it seems to me that a lot of sewing classes are offered at times I am at work which is not helpful.

Took the beginner "learn to sew" class - it has been years since I sat down at a sewing machine and was so happy to have the direction I needed. It was a small class size that worked for people who had never tried to sew on a machine, to refreshers for some who had some experience. Our teacher Erin was fantastic, and very hands on helping each of us. We all came away with a beautiful first project and had a great time!

Recently attended the learn-to-sew class and it was excellent! The class was very small and the instructor was very helpful/attentive. I now feel confident I am operating my sewing machine properly and can't wait to start some new projects. Highly recommend and will definitely be signing up for more classes :)

Such a wonderful experience. We went a couple of months back. I am new to sewing and was kinda intimidated but was very happy with my experience. It was hard to find a place that sold such a variety of quaily fabric, so we drove an hour ( yes an hour) to come check out the shop and I am happy we did. Will do it again. Driving an hour for such good variety and service is prefectly fine with me. The owner took her time to show me all the fabric in detail when I told her I was new to sewing but didn't want to use polyester or cheap fabrics. She pointed each section and explained what each type would be good for, then took me and showed me all the patterns. Once I picked the patterns she helped me pick out fabrics. My husband and I were there for quite some time. We apologise for taking up so much of your time but it really was a wonderful experience, and really appreciate the time and knowledge you shared with us. Will be back in the future!!

Wonderful customer service, and they have a lovely carefully curated selection of fabrics and notions. They've been my go-to fabric store to shop at since the pandemic hit as they offer curbside pickup as well as delivery!

Appreciate this store and its lovely staff who worked diligently through stage 1 and 2 of the pandemic. They were ready with online shopping long before other big fabric stores. Thank you Spool & Spindle for your essential services to mask makers!

This is one of my favourite places to visit. They have a great selection of fun fabrics and notions and the staff is truly wonderful and so so helpful. They go above and beyond to help and even my kids love to come in as they make it so welcoming.
