Brereton Lake Resort

We had the pleasure of staying at Brereton Lake Resort in Cabin 5, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, Greg was incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his guests, always making himself available for anything we needed.

The cabin itself was beautiful—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. We especially loved the hot tub facing the forest with well well thought out privacy fence perfect for a honeymoon weekend.

Greg’s attention to detail and dedication to ensuring his guests have a perfect stay truly set this resort apart. When we ordered pizza, instead of having us wait in the restaurant or store, he insisted on us going back in our cabin, getting comfortable and bringing it out to us when it’s ready

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional service, I highly recommend Brereton Lake Resort, and especially Cabin 5. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful location full of adventures and resting, my husband and I went for our honey moon for 3 nights,
We loved every single part of this vacation.
The owner took care of us so well ! The restaurant food was delicious and enjoyed every single part of the dine in experience. I can see us going back whenever we get another vacation. Renting one of the cabin from Brereton lake resort is so much better than camping or RV. Having a hot tub was such a highlight of the cabin we are renting !

I want to take a moment and honestly give the staff and owner a shoutout the went out of there way today when we had a broken truck and delivered oitlr breafest and oil to were we broke down. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys rock food was amazing like always. Keep that good heart.

They are super fantastic here. The food is top notch and portions are big. Rooms are fantastic a getaway in the winter too. The owners show they care in everything they do.

Had a delicious dinner comprised of walleye and chips, Brereton burger and ceasar salad. The ceasar dressing was up with the best. Walleye delightfully fresh and burger tasty. Huge portions.

Large portions of good food. They just added a beer vendor so that's awesome! 😁

Spent last weekend in cabin 5. It felt more like a hotel then a cabin. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Cooked most of our meals in the fully outfitted kitchen but did take advantage of the restaurant once for breakfast. The portion size was huge and quality eats. Greg clearly wears many hats, a busy bee, but always available and attentive. This was our first time staying here and there is no doubt we will be returning.

I must share that the food and service at this place are genuinely excellent. There's no better location than sitting on the deck and relaxing 😊. Two days in a row, I visited the resort for a steak dinner, and the experience was so fantastic that it kept bringing me back for their delicious food. I want to give a special thanks to my server, Amber, who always came to the table smiling. Also, a big shoutout to Greg, the owner, who was constantly on the deck even when it was busy. And a special thanks to Annette, the chef, for preparing that delicious steak.

I could not believe how friendly Greg the resort manager was. My first encounter with him was amazing he brightens the room as soon as he enters it and ensures that all customers are well taken care of. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and the potions were plenty and the costs were low.

Thank you Greg and crew for giving us a wonderful weekend. We will be back 💯. Food in the restaurant amazing. Conviences amazing, friendliness amazing. This resort is a gem. Hats off to all of you who work and run it. Can't ask for a better winter weekend.

We have a place to stay, so we have ate and bought from their during our 10 days. Food was spot on. The blackened beef tenderloin is exceptional. Meat pizza was super and great, and I haven't finished the breakfast yet!

The store(convenience store) is great, the restaurant (for a rural area) is absolutely fantastic. The owners are fantastic. You can’t go wrong by visiting this place.

Awesome atmosphere great service and delicious food!!

05/24/2023. Brereton lake resort just keeps getting better. I had a burger and frings. Exceptional! My awesome better half had a filly cheese steak pizza. Oh is good and the leftovers were just as good the next day! Good pricing and Greg’s daughter provided great service. TIP: we went for dinner just after 4 pm and it hadn’t started to get busy yet.
We will return for the pickle pizza.

Stopped and had Lunch/Breakfast here. They were busy and that shows how good this place is. Food was amazing and portions are huge. Well worth it.

This is the place to go for food when your within the Whiteshell Provincial Park. To begin with, the food quality exceeded my expectations, easily above average. Secondly, the food portions were very fair in relation to their prices, uncommon in this area. Thirdly, the dining establishment is clean, roomy, comfortable and rustic, exactly what you would hope to find when exploring this beautiful park. And lastly, Greg (the owner) takes it upon himself to take care of everyone, providing excellent hospitality and dining service while you are in his care. Do yourself a favor and stop by for food if your in the area, you won't regret it!!!

I'm usually a tough critic, but have to say that the Chicken Club Sandwich went far beyond expectations. It was top notch in every way. The chicken was breaded and tender, the bacon was crispy, a perfect amount of extras, and the bread was toasted perfectly. The fries were excellent and the onion rings were crispy. The chef knows what s/he's doing here. I'm usually a burger guy, but I don't know if I could bring myself to order anything else—that's how good it was. The patio service was great and he even thought to give us a bug deterrent device, even though I don't think it was totally necessary. Next time we go to Whiteshell, this place will definitely be on the list of stops.

Love the extra big portions of fries and mussels

Didn't stay at the resort but went to the restaurant for dinner . It was super busy that night with only one server who was sweet and did an amazing job. Our meal was excellent too - I ordered the veggie pizza and my husband had a spicy chicken wrap and fries - enough food for another meal. Our next visit was for breakfast - yummy fluffy omelets and excellent coffee and service. Excellent place to eat!
