Cute and tiny and vibrant color coffeeshop in Verdun. Delicious latte and awesome grilled cheese was my menu for lunch. The staff is very respectful and amiable. Check this adorable place out.

Such a great cute café! The outside front & back terraces are cozy, the food and drinks are always fresh and tasty! The staff always ensure everyone is happy! Totally recommend it 😍

This cafe is absolutely lovely. The new York omelette is the best omelette I've had in a restaurant in years and the staff are welcoming, kind and attentive to detail. It's a great place to come on a breakfast date, to have a cocktail or coffee with friends, and is also bright and comfortable for writers and readers alike:) 5 star! Will be back! And it is also family friendly

This cozy little restaurant off the beaten path (surrounded by construction) was unknown to me just a couple of days ago. In an effort to avoid going to the same places, a friend and I visited this establishment for brunch. The Cubano burger was so juicy and delicious that I’m salivating just thinking about it. Also, I’m not generally a fan of French fries, but these were oven baked with the perfect amount of crispiness. The dessert was some kind of homemade thick pancake that was again out of this world. If you’re tired of going to the same place, check out this amazing place with outstanding food and service!

Last Sunday we enjoyed the most wonderful brunch. My Family has returned once again this evening for dinner. We continue to be amazed with their incredibly mouthwatering food. Every loving dish served with a beautiful presentation with care. We encourage everyone to enjoy the Café La Base experience. If I could give give 10 starts I would. Amazing and cozy ambiance. Great coffee selection, great food selection. Simple and delicious. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommended if you happen to pass by in Verdun !

Specifically Smash Burger, very delicious burger, I would recommend coming here for a good quality burger.

I’ve visited this lovely cafe a few times to grab a coffee and a pastel de nata after leaving the gym but I just stopped in for brunch on their beautiful patio (heated!) and this has moved up in my ranks of Verdun cafes.

I had the toast Beyrouth with a flat white (all coffees were $2 that Saturday afternoon for some reason - I wasn’t complaining hehe) and it was so beautiful and delicious. It was the perfect amount of food since I wasn’t super hungry so if you are craving more I’d order an additional dish or one of their grilled cheeses.

I grabbed a slice of their pumpkin cardamom tart to enjoy at home and it was so flavorful - highly recommend their deserts and pastries.

Super excited to come back and try more of their menu, especially during the evening.

I heard they had natas so I checked it out with a friend for lunch. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are delicious! We stayed for lunch and I bought a dozen natas to take home. This is a must-try!

EDIT TO ADD: I went back for lunch again (take-out this time) and was still very impressed! There was new staff there this time, and they were very friendly. Ghe sandwich was grilled fresh when I ordered it and was perfect when I got back to work to eat it.

.. and they still have natas!!! Yessssss

Flat white to die for! The staff, especially Lily, is so friendly and welcoming! The food is nice and the terrace is very relaxing to sit in and enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Their Shakshuka is the best I tried in Montreal !
I also tried their cocktails on one evening and flamed cheese, phenomenal!

Amazing restaurant!! The bloody ceasar is to die for!! And the whole team is THE BEST!!!! Love this place. Definitely one of the best hidden gem

The omelettes are amazing. New York, especially. Nice service. Very clean.

They make the most amazing grilled cheese here! My boyfriend got the mocha and I got the cappuccino, and we both agree that they were so flavourful. We also got the cheese cake and it was pretty brilliant too. I highly recommend and would go back.
