The Home Depot

One of my favorite places to browse through for my garden. It carries a big choice of flower baskets, perennials, annuals, and vegetables to fit every budget.
Pots, earth, mulch, seeds it has it!

I bought a hot watertank and returned it for another one, amazing how they treated me super nice and explained they don't usually change them but they saw everything in good condition the store manager granted the exchange thank you home depot

Went in to purchase a fridge and stove and had the pleasure of being served by David, the young man in the appliance department. He was friendly, kind and super pleasant. He did his best to assist me. I left with a great price and very happy with my experience. Thank you David!

This is a normal Home Depot located on Montreal island. The unusual thing about it that it has a multistorey carpark instead of an open carpark. There is still no charge for parking, but the carpark can get crowded sometimes.

Home depot was the only place we found to rent a van for 2 hours at a reasonable price. Plus the staff had a good sense of humour! I wasn't able to use the reservation system on my phone or on certain browsers, but that is not their fault, and they were able to help when I called.

I also find it really cool that the staff had tags on their uniform to let you know if they could serve you in another language than English or French. The whole place just felt friendly and inclusive.

I was there once to buy a plumbing part and an employee looked for it and told us they didn't think they had it. We did end up finding it on our own, but I won't lower my rating for that. Some things are really specific and while the store staff will do what they can to help, I wouldn't expect anyone to know every part and piece in there. Like all things you should do your own research too.

Home Depot in Saint-Henri, Montreal, QC, is my favorite Home Depot. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Their gardening section is beautiful, offering a wide range of plants and supplies that make any gardening project a joy. This location truly stands out for its excellent customer service and top-notch products. Highly recommended! 💫

We just had a wonderful experience at the store and met André who helped us to choose a good washing machine that suited our needs. He answered all our questions and provided a helpful guidance. We are very grateful to him for this excellent customer service. Thank you!!!

Home Depot is a reasonable place , as long as you stay away from the cleaning supplies almost everything else is priced to market. Some of the screws and bolts are overpriced but the rest is just a good option for home projects and even small contracting jobs. If you need bigger quantities where price really matters maybe you better off trying main suppliers

I want to thank Irv at the Home Depot in St-Henri, store #7128 for his outstanding product knowledge and all around helpfulness. There was also another gentleman that was very helpful, but I unfortunately do not have his name, work in the same department as Irv. I also want to say a special thank you to Christal from their customer service team for her outstanding service and resolution.
Everyone involved went out of their way to make my issue right and I am so pleased. I cannot thank them enough!

The staff at the store is friendly and very helpful.
I was shopping for a belt sander, and one of the clerks took his time with me and showed me different brands of belt sanders.
The store is well stocked and organized .
Plenty of free parking in the stores multilevel parking lot .

Found everything I needed here to renovate my grandmothers kitchen. Delivery drivers brought up all materials and made my life a whole lot easier. Thank you!

Pros: This place is close to home and usually has what I'm looking for. Been so nice to still be able to get reno projects done during COVID.

They have a great tool rental section! Always found the tools I need here. And truck rentals available for large tools or materials that won't fit in your car. Rentals take a while though so if there happen to be like 2 people ahead of you just go shopping first haha
Same for paint, get them mixing it for you and then go shop or you'll be waiting around for a while.
Also for stuff outside like cement I took a photo and cashier could scan the pic. Very helpful to not lug around 10 bags of concrete, same for the little parts they ask to label in a bag just took a pic of the case number.

They've always been super easy going for returns.

In the summer they have a nice garden section outside.

They will give plastic sheeting to protect your car if you ask and help with heavy items.

Cons:
They don't always answer the phone. Couldn't get a wood door frame even though they sell wood doors. Also couldn't find any coping stones for my brick wall. I hate their website, can never seem to find things when I search that I know they have in store.

Extremely helpful staff! When I needed help deciding between different products, they gave very good advice (even said that for my needs, even the cheap tool should suffice, which works fine for me). Later, when there was a misunderstanding about the return time of a tool rental, I received a discount because the agent understood my perspective, even though it was my mistake. Especially Alaa was extraordinary, he even helped me cut a piece of metal that didn't fit!! 😊😊

I have been renovating since May and for obvious reasons spent ALOT of time in the St Henri store. The flooring Dept guys were amazing and today the customer service dept. was a life safer. So helpful and polite and know their jobs. Thank you all so much.

I went in to buy a dryer which was on sale. Not only did he verify if the same dryer was at a lower price elsewhere, he gave me an additional % off, as it was priced 1$ lower at the competitors. He also went to get a vent pipe and clamps, so I would have them for the installation.
He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. He had my best interests, as the client, as a priority!
I will highly recommend Michel, to my family and friends, for his OUTSTANDING Customer Care. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
