Delicious food, excellent service, and very fair prices. Every time I go I try a different dish and I am very impressed I usually stick to one or two things that I know I like, but I ventured out of my comfort zone and am thankful I did because every meal was and has been scrumptious. Definitely a little gem of a place with 5 stars 🌟 from me. Thank you 😊

Fantastic beer and food! Taproom was really nice to hang out in. Garage Band was an easy delicious brew. Cheers for the prices there and the vegan options.

Had the blue Hawaiian burger and blue cheese nachos with balsamic glaze, delicious!!!

Stopped in for a Mad Dog burger and Foolishly Hoptimistic IPA after cycling 55k on the Harvest Moon trail. My wife enjoyed a gourmet Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup.

Good selection of beer and a few ciders. The pulled pork was delicious!! but the breaded chicken was overcooked. Great spice on the fries. Staff was super friendly and attentive, and the place was clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go again!

It was our first visit and we loved everything! We got there just before a rush started and our server was so friendly even though she was clearly getting very busy. The food was amazing and we'll definitely be back to try more!

Waited far too long before visiting this amazing place! The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, the selection of craft brews was awesome, and the atmosphere was super chill and cozy.

Go for the burger but stay for the atmosphere! Such an awesome little place. We did burger wars and the French onion burger was incredible! Their fries are next level too.

Okay, so I was staying at the Aurora Inn all week long last week on a work trip.

I did a little research and I really liked the sound of the Roof Hound. So before I was halfway through the week I swung over there for supper.

I ordered a Mad Dog burger with bacon.

It was monstrous. I mean, freaking huge. A man with a beard like me ought to know better than to order something like that, but by God, it was GOOD!

It tasted like about five hamburgers smashed together into a wondrous, cozy feast!

Dang, it was good.

I had a Handsome Devil dark milk stout that pasted the kind of grin onto my face that is normally reserved for Heisenberg Blue Meth (for all you Breaking Bad fans).

Except this beer broke good. Smooth, tasty, and so stiff you could have built a house onto that pint of beer.

I had fries with the burger that were absolutely perfect. Thick, crisp, browned nicely, lord thundering I want to write a sonata regarding this meal.

So, did I like it?

I liked it enough that two days later, when my work partner pooped out and decided to have her meal in her room I walked on down to the Roofhound, barked twice, and ordered the same darned meal.

My only regret is that I neglected to notice an experimental brew that was a chocolate mint stout. I mean, doesn't that just scream for a scoop of ice cream? A dark beer float, now that idea floats my boat.

Great service.

My one warning is that when you walk in you might think that it's a bit of a dive. I mean, some of the furniture looks like they might have pulled it out of a yard sale. But listen, you didn't walk in for decor, now did you?

You came for the burger!

So, if you are a for-real burger fanatic like me, then you REALLY ought to get yourself into the Roofhound.

And try that Mad Dog!

First time at Roof Hound but I’ll definitely be back. What an unexpected treat nestled in the middle of the Annapolis Valley.

This was a find!! We were doing a South Shore tour and staying the night in Kingston. We stumbled across this gem!! The staff was so friendly and welcoming right off the bat. We were a group of 11 family members varying ages 14-77. The food was next level. We talked about it all night after leaving. The portions were large and delicious. The prices were great and the peanut butter pie was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal! Well done Roof Hound. I would highly recommend and if I ever get back down that way, this is where I am heading.

Excellent all around! Food quality trumps Maritime Express & The Church, plus our server Chantel was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. Such an experience is hard to find by these days. Gluten free fryer was the cherry on top. We will be back 😃

Great craft beer! The owner is lovely and loves to show you his beers! 👋 Go and try local, it's something special. They also have great seltzers, so ask for the root beer one! You won't regret it!

Great food and drinks! Parking is a little sketchy but the pharmasave is right there with lots of parking.

Though the music is a bit loud for us, we enjoyed the night. It was our anniversary and we were taken care of. Kudos to the staff that night. Good food too.

Party of 6 at 6pm (4adults,2 kids). Place started to get busy shortly after. They handled it well. Minor hiccup with the order but corrected it and even gave us some cheesecake! Mother-in-laws birthday supper so thank you for making it a good evening. Well reccomended for sure. Everyone was super friendly!

Wicked good mushroom tacos. Big Stink IPA was, as Monty Burns says, “Excellent!”

Great little spot, wide selection of beer 🍺 there is definitely one for all types of beer lovers. And the burgers and fries sooo good!
