Mainstreet Family Restaurant

My husband and I visited Merrickville yesterday and stumbled upon this little gem. The restaurant has old charm and a very welcoming ambiance. We sat at a bar top and ordered a drink. Other patrons began chatting with us and they made room for us at the bar. We had intended to stay for one drink but ended up staying for dinner.
Our bartender Hailey was lovely, very attentive and friendly. Our server Micaela kept our water glasses filled and was also very friendly and on point. The food we ordered was delicious. If you visit this adorable town make Mainstreet Restaurant and Patio your first stop.

I would recommend making reservations on the weekend since it can be a wait if you walk in. Food was delicious (I ordered the Main's All In). Service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is super cozy. I very much recommend.

Wonderful staff. I love the new additions to their menu. We enjoyed the Vegan options as well. I had the chicken parmesan pasta and my vegan boyfriend got the veggie burger with guacamole added, and veggie pizza no cheese.

Best pizza we've had since moving out this way. More than worth the drive from Smiths Falls. We had the Main's Combo pizza and the free small pepperoni. So delicious!! The crust was firm and a little crunchy & burnt on the edge (the way I like it). All the toppings stayed in place for the drive, held on with lots of cheese. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lots of people inside for a Thursday night. + friendly service, will be back.

We stopped in at Mainstreet restaurant yesterday. The Thursday go to is wings, not yesterday, we had a the jalapeño burger and buffalo wrap. The burger was delish as well as the wrap. The fries were golden brown and crispy. Looking forward to chicken wings next time!

Went to the Mainstreet Family Restaurant for lunch today with my little guy and he got a grilled cheese with fries and I got the Atomic Jalapeno burger with sweet chilli sauce and a poutine on the side. The meal was fantastic and the waitress was on the ball and really pleasant to deal with. Awesome experience will definitely go back again for sure.

I liked this restaurant. The menu seemed big which can be daunting but I went with the steak caesar salad. It was tasty. The staff was freindly and had warned us in advance that they had run out of an ingredient, allowing my friend and I to make a different choice.

I will go back for sure!

Wonderful staff, predictably delicious food, great variety and very accommodating to any special request. Highly recommend and always enjoy! Salmon burger with sweet potato fries, and pepperoni pizza with regular fries.

Breakfast is always a delight! My son and I got breakfast - and Gluten Free toast! Woot!

We have been ordering from Mainstreet for dine in and take out since we first moved to Merrickville, when I was around 3 years old. We absolutely love the food, but it’s the people who make the experience worth it every time for us. We have become very close with the staff over the years and they make it home to us every time we are in. Mainstreet is a very special place for us and will always hold a place in our hearts. The nachos were loaded with stuff and the staff amazing, love the positive energy keep it up!

Perfect place, if you like spicy sandwich go with Atomic Sandwich. Love it!
