Salma convenience store

First, I want to say that I fell upon these reviews because I just wanted to locate the Dépanneur.

After reading so many negative reviews, I became a little concerned for my UPS packages. I was also afraid of being rude too. Before even going to Dépanneur Selma I change my delivery location on the UPS My Choice site. The reviews said that the packages were thrown on a dirty floor etc. Sounded scary.

Now, let me tell you about my real-life experience with Dépanneur Selma:

About half-hour after I read the reviews, I received a call from someone at the depanneur informing me that I had packages waiting. I said, I will be right there in a few minutes. The guy that called me was there and welcomed me with a smile and was polite. He brought over my packages, I show my ID and we had a little conversation about what I had ordered. I opened a package and showed him my purchase. As I was taking my packages away, he said “hold on”. He came back with boxing tape and taped closed my opened box. He was seriously a nice guy so I told him about the bad reviews on Google. He explained to me that there are some people who don’t understand why they should show ID and he has had problems with them when he wouldn’t give them their packages. Some of those people even said that they will give him a bad review.

Conclusion, I shouldn’t have judged this place before visiting because of other people’s opinion. I think it is a perfectly fine place and NO, the packages aren’t on a dirty floor, they are on a clean tiled floor. It’s true that his English isn’t perfect but “So What”… I am sure that I and the other who have written reviews don’t speak his language. DO NOT listen to me or those other reviewers, just pass by and visit the store incognito yourself and you be the judge. Before writing this review, I changed back my delivery location for this location.

Got my Ups package fine. But it was hard to find, as google map led me to the wrong street. Had to re enter the real adress to find it(it’s connected to an appartement building).

I asked them to stock an item I use and they very kindly ordered it at the same time.

8$ for two 250ml redbulls.

From the moment I stepped into the shop, it was evident that the owner had no interest in providing a welcoming or friendly environment. Instead, they greeted me with a condescending tone and a dismissive attitude. It was as if they believed they were doing me a favor by allowing me to spend my hard-earned money at their establishment.

Any question I asked was met with a sigh of annoyance or a curt response that bordered on rudeness. It was clear that they had no interest in helping customers or promoting a positive shopping experience.

This shop owner's behavior was not only unprofessional but also dehumanizing. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and unfortunately, this shop failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer service. It is disheartening to encounter such a toxic individual who tarnishes the reputation of what could have been a decent establishment.

I strongly advise anyone considering visiting this shop to reconsider their decision. The owner's behavior reflects poorly on the entire establishment, and supporting such an establishment only encourages their disrespectful and appalling conduct. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find a shop that values its customers and treats them with the respect they deserve.

Owner/manager doesn’t speak English or French. Rude to customers and keeps UPS packages on a dirty floor.
A place to avoid, ups shouldn’t use this as an access point and I would definitely not buy from there if I was living in that building.

If you want to be served by someone rude, that is definitely the place to go. I wish UPS didn’t deliver my package there and if i was living in the apartment building where the depanneur is, i would definitely go to another one.
