I had the pleasure of visiting Evelyne Boutique, of meeting Evelyne herself and of buying the shop's wares on its very first day of business. The boutique carries a wonderful array of local and Canadian-made goods for every budget and taste. It has become my first destination whenever I'm looking for a memorable gift. I found a cute top for summer, great Mother’s Day cards, and pretty socks. The salesgirl went above and beyond to help (I had been sent a discount that the system couldn’t find, but the salesgirl persisted and found a workaround).

This place has become like a second home. The staff are welcoming, Evelyne herself is personally around to bother if you are ever curious about the store or her fashions. The clothes are chosen with care put into where they come from (go #montrealfashion), how they affect the people who make them, wear them, the impact they will leave on the environment.

The story, the people who are there each day, the unique clothes, make for a pleasant experience every time.

La sélection de produits locaux est juste parfaite; des trouvailles pour la maison, les meilleures cartes de souhaits, des trucs pour enfants mais surtout les vêtements...WOW!
