Freshway Market Plus

Freshway Market is my go-to spot for purchasing Lebanese bread, olives, pickles, and other authentic Middle Eastern foods that are hard to find elsewhere. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the kafta wrap I ordered. The only suggestion I have is to substitute the tahini (tarator) with hummus. Overall, I highly recommend Freshway Market to anyone in search of quality Middle Eastern food and groceries.

Very good products. the meat you will never go wrong here🙂 . Amazing people and customer services too. Hussein at the meat department is phenomenal in every thing, professional , helpful , and extremely good at what he does. Rest of staff are super helpful and friendly too . We love this market

I shop here often because the prices are very reasonable when considering how kind the staff is.

I do have a question though, because my girlfriend loves Dolmas, but has some allergies. I cannot read the ingredients unfortunately. I have tasted the dolmas and they are lovely, but without an ingredients list my girlfriend hasn't tried them yet.

They just opened up their bakery section and I can’t be happier! the dough tastes so good and they have all types of manakeesh you can ask for. They also have gelato and the taste is beyond my expectations, definitely the best gelato I tried in the GTA, so yummy!

Arabic Store for getting fresh hummus, breads, pickles etc. High quality meats and cuts. All Halal obvio. They even have a live bakery dishing out manakeesh and more. Unfortunately they closed their older branch at Uptown Oakville, which was much closer to my house. Now I have to drive couple of km more for hummus and pita. It's okay I guess.

Holy ice cream this is the best ...amazing didn't have the pizza but looks incredible ..the falafel is awesome..cool place cool people worth the stop , the beef also looks great at the counter but no cooler for ride home will be back

Always friendly service at the butcher's counter. They have a wide variety of items including produce, snacks and drinks, fresh meat, and dry goods.

Probably the best bbq in all of the gta! Fresh and juicy every time, they are still new so I understand the little mistakes but they always do there best to help. My family has ordered from here multiple times and will continue for years!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BEEF SHISH AND KOOFTA!

My favourite stop for middle eastern groceries, their name brand is great! Can't beat them for fresh labaneh, and akkawi or nabulsi cheese. Good selection of spices and spice mixes.
Their meat is always fresh, and the seasonings on their pre-marinated meats are excellent.
I recently ordered a large order of pastries for an event, they were on time, and the pasties were top notch.

I love how I can find cores squash and eggplants there, as well as seasonal produce like green chickpeas, green almonds, purple carrots, etc that I can't find anywhere else in Canada.

I was delighted to discover this place has a hot and cold deli for takeout meals. For goodness sake why don't you advertise this on your website? Don't keep it a secret!

This place is divine. It reminds me of when I used to live in the middle east, the food is great, the people are so welcoming and friendly.

Their kebabs are mouth watering delicious. I love it. Their Egyptian Mango sherbet/sorbet (I forgot what it actually is made of lol) is refreshing and fresh.

I advice people should come have their shawarma/kebabs/shish & desserts!

Went there for breakfast, and it was so good, I’m definitely coming back! The manakeesh were my favourite! The falafel tasted fresh and just like back home! I totally recommend this place!

Best Halal meat in Oakville, and now they are serving different kind of food like grilled chicken, lamb and recently falafel. I am lucky that I got to try all during the last year. Highly recommended

Amazing shop for middle Eastern grocery. They also make fresh yummy Kofta sandwich ( you may have to order ahead though)

Our new favourite grocery store in Oakville. They have great selection of products, grocery is always fresh, some of them are organic, great quality and prices are surprisingly low compared to other stores. It’s a middle eastern, arabic store but they have Turkish products too. I think some grocery comes from middle east like green plums, zucchinis (they have carved zucchinis too), eggplants, fresh mint. The fresh mint is the best, they don’t always have them but honestly they sell the best mint in North America. The meat quality is great too. The store is very clean. They sell food even though the cafe part is still under construction ( looks like it will open soon tho). Today we tried chicken shish and kabab wraps and both were very tasty. I am very picky when it comes to kababs but this was hands down the best I had in GTA.

I highly recommend this market, it has everything fresh vegetables & fruits, in addition to that it has Manakish and sandwiches. Their falafel platter and their manakish are delicious!
In addition to that, the stafft are friendly and welcoming! Keep up

We have had the pleasure of shopping there on a few occasions and our experiences have all been wonderful. The selection of meats, produce, and freezer goods is outstanding, and we have enjoyed our food very much. Thank you Yassir and the staff for making this a welcoming and friendly place to buy groceries (and maybe a few treats to enjoy as well!). Keep up the great work!

I went in there to buy cooked meals... So delicious. And the employees are really nice. Clean place. Recommend it if you live in Halton and need middle Eastern groceries or cooked meals
