Central Fresh Market

I absolutely love the fresh cut meats. Cut and package all different sizes. I even found RAGU sauce. Beef tallow, if you have not tried it, it's a MUST. Great, once it's been melted down, crinkle cut fries and Molasses cookies. The flavor is amazing. Staff are extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly.

I love the prices they have for meats. I don’t think I’ll buy my meat anywhere else. Growing up my mother always got ours meats from here. Over 20 years later their prices can’t be beat.

I have been shopping here for years and love this place. They have high quality local eggs and goat dairy products which have become staples of my diet. I hope they get a lot more traction with the ongoing loblaws boycott!

This 5-star rating is for the meat department alone. Unbelievable selection and very fair prices! Shop there weekly since discovering it.

The front staff girls are super friendly and even went out of there way to find a product for my son.

Central Fresh grocery store, in-store cut fresh meats, never frozen and they do custom cuts this week chicken drumsticks $1.49 a pound-store is on the LRT or by car unlimited parking near GRH!

Great selection of stock and meat, along with a variety of fresh breads. I also appreciate that they close at midnight.

The meat prices are amazing but what really wowed me was the fresh bread! The baker made sure to take the time to explain what his different loaves were and helped me pick the perfect freshly baked loaf - it was so good! I ate half the bag plain on my bus ride home.

The yummiest smelling meat section that I typically walk in to/ walk by. Never makes me feel sick. And at great prices. Really like the local products, as well; and that they are open late.

I've been shopping at Central Fresh Market (formerly Central Meat Market) for many many years. The best meat selection in the Region of Waterloo. My favourite are the Pigtails (short cut). So many choices for pork and beef. They make their own ground beef. If you want a special cut, just ask at the counter. A large selection of European products - my source for Hayward's Pickled Onions. Great selection of produce -- Cipollini onions and loose Yukon Gold potatoes. Excellent customer service!

I moved to northern Ontario (Marathon) last year and I miss shopping at your store so much.
The Independant grocer here butcher shop is CRAP.
I cant eat their beef..(I threw out the stakes I bought there),never in my life have I taken 1/3 cup of fat off when frying lean ground beef (he is dyeing his beef red to hide fat) then selling it as lean or extra lean.
I go with two others to Thunder bay and get a years supply of grade A beef but even there it does not compare to yours.

I love Central Fresh! I live in the neighbourhood so I can walk there, but I usually buy so much I end up driving. They have so much packed into the relatively small store. Lots of produce, good meat, and the organic milk I like. The self serve is unfussy and there is always someone quick to help. They also have late hours which is handy.

99% of the staff are amazing . Brent is always super helpful. Josana, Brenda, Sadaie ,Judith are amazing at the checkouts and customerservice. Al and Mike are shining stars in the meat department. Allie and Brohman know their veggies and fruit.
Very knowledgeable. Staff have even helped me pick up groceries and get them in my car . I understand young people have attitude . But the young girl 20 ish with the short dirty blonde hair has attitude. I think her name is Kelsee .When she's at customer service I avoid getting lotto tickes. I don't like hearing the rude mummbles. If she is working customer service she should be happy. Or work in a different department. Maybe the freezers. Thank you Brent for being amazing

We were into Central Fresh Market for the first time and checked out the Prime Rib roasts but we wanted a larger one and one of the staff went back into the butcher area and came out with a beautifully trimmed 8 pound roast.

My wife cooked it for our son’s birthday and it was absolutely the best prime rib we have ever enjoyed. The appearance, taste and tenderness of this prime rib was amazing with zero fat or waste.

Pricing was also extremely attractive and we will definitely be returning to shop at Central Fresh Market.

Compliments to your supplier and butcher are definitely in order.

Living in the downtown area of Kitchener, Central Fresh Market is one of the only places that is within a reasonable walking or public transport distance. The independent status of the store makes for a nice experience. They have always been well-stocked and have some clearance sales of additional items as well.

The meat section is one of the best I have seen within the KW area- you can get anything you are using to make a meal with. Prices are reasonable given that it is not a chain and is medium-sized.

The location and accessibility, as well as the friendly service and good selection make Central Fresh a great place to stock up!
