Very helpful and friendly staff. Whenever I depart the store,,my shopping needs have always been met. I have been a client for years and not once have I ever had an issue. Bonus for me is that,,I love supporting a small business versus the big box entities!! Keep up the great work!!

Just bought a snow blower on black friday. Awesome store to shop at. Murray and his teams are amazing to speak to, very friendly, knowledgeable, polite and patient. It was almost closing time and Murray did not rush even once and explained each detail with so much of sincerity, this I have appreciated so much. This will be my go-to shop for all things home and would recommend to friends and family for sure.

I’d give them a hundred stars, if I could! Bought a large piece of outdoor furniture and paid extra for setup. Team delivering went above and beyond! They had to go through my house and deal with my narrow sliding door in order to get it into my backyard. I was so impressed with how they handled everything. I am a Brooklin Home Hardware customer for life!

I recently made a purchase of a snowblower at Brooklin Home Hardware and dealt with the owner of the store. He was very informative and helpful which made going there very pleasant. The experience was very positive and would recommend this store and staff that work there as well to anyone! I appreciated how gracious and understanding I was treated and would absolutely go there again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much 😊

Great place for those small jobs around the house. If you just need a few screws or a light switch you don't have to walk around the big box store and deal with the crowd. It's a more personal small town feeling . It kind of brings you back to the days of old when the big box stores were not around yet. That's why we moved to Brooklin from the city, to enjoy a more laid back and relaxed lifestyle.

Their drive through solution to COVID is brilliant. They do warn you ahead of time that there will be a wait. I really appreciated that. There was a wait but not too bad considering there were about 12 cars ahead. The attendant at the window was extremely patient and helpful.

Stopped by to pick-up a few items on a headlight renew I was planning on doing. Had a Tyler dude give me a hand finding what I was looking for and only got disappointed that none of the clear coats had a UV inhibitor. Got the cleaner, got the wet sandpaper, got lots of smiles.

The cashier does need to find a personality though. If he is so fed up by customers at his young age, I can hardly wait to see what he's like in a couple of years.

We went there today to purchase a BBQ - I know, so close to the end of the season! They were the last place in Canada to have the model and colour we were looking for, so we made the 2 hour drive to go pick it up. Jeff was so helpful in answering all our questions and preparing the BBQ for us to take home. He even helped us disassemble and put it in our car! The level of customer service we received from Jeff and the store makes us sad it's such a far drive, otherwise this would be our new go-to.
Thank you for everything Jeff, and our burgers tonight were well worth the drive!

Carry just about everything you will ever need at the same or slighly higher price as the big box stores. Bonus it's just minutes away. Convenient and the owner Jeff is amazing.

Went to get a piece of glass cut to use as a custom aquarium lid. They have 2mm and 3mm thick glass. I went with the 3mm. Will do the job perfectly, and price was very reasonable. Less then $10 for the size I needed! Will definitely go back for any other future needs.

Better than a big box store in every way. Friendly and helpful staff are members of the community. Due to covid, the store has one entrance dedicated to entry, and one dedicated to exit. Cash registers have protective barriers and there is sanitizer available to patrons.

It’s nice to have a local hardware store right in Brooklin....notably that it’s not a big box store.
Jeff is the guy to track down for help...I think he’s the owner. Several times he has gone out of his way to help me with a part or a fix on something that wasn’t so easy to figure out on my own. He knows where everything is.
They may not have the assortment of Home Depot or Lowe’s...but the big stores will never give you that personalized service unless you are lucky.
The big stores can be daunting especially if you are in unfamiliar territory like plumbing or electrical. The folks at Brooklin HH can hold your hand and help you figure it out.

They have a great drive thru window set up where you can order the items you want through a speaker just like McDonald's! Then you pull up to the window and pay and receive your items. So much faster and more convenient then traditional curbside pickups at hardware stores!

Amazing setup. The owners have definitely decided to take Covid seriously. Drive thru lane with an ordering speaker just like Timmies. You can order at the speaker (you can actually understand what's being said) or call ahead. Every effort has been taken to limit contact. I live in Pickering and will drive past the Ajax location to get my stuff in Brooklin.
Thanks to all the staff for making my shopping experience so comfortable.

I decided to replace my free standing basin to vanity and as expected I ran into an issue with the waste pipe. With stay at home orders all the stores are closed I was worried how I am going to be able get this done, with brooklin home hardware’s kiosk and chat I was able to fix it in a jiffy. A big shout out to Dorian and Malcolm. Thank you!

My first experience in your store was a flat out 10 out of 10. I came yesterday afternoon to pick up a Weber Charcoal bbq. I asked Steve at the back of the store if they had any left as I know it is late in the season. He showed me the three he had left and told me that they were on sale 30% off. I chose the green one.
Steve asked me if I needed charcoal and I got a bag of it as well. I asked him for lighter fluid and he spent quite some time looking for it while I was admiring the Napoleon Prestige Pro 500 close to the cash at the front of the store. He informed me that it was also on sale for 30 % off. I recognized that it was a very good deal and we needed a new gas grill so I told him that I would take it as well along with a cover. Steve looked after all the paperwork while also helping other customers at the same time. He also helped me carry out my items to the truck. I was not able to take the gas grill as I did not have room for it. Steve told me that the delivery guys would be in later in the afternoon and if they have the room in the truck they would bring it out later today. I got a phone call around 7:30 last night from the delivery guys saying they are a half hour away. I didn't get their names but were both very polite and professional and carried my new purchase to my back yard and put it on my deck. They gave me the run through on it like letting it run for a while to burn off the oil from the manufacturing process. My old Bbq had a 3/8 quick coupler on it and this new one was 1/2 inch. One of the guys told me that he would fix that for me and I told them that I could look after it as I was gas fitter.
This is why I have to give this store and the people that I dealt with yesterday a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back.
