I often come here to buy UK soft drinks, bath liquid soap, tea bags and their UK classic cartoon Mr.men little miss picture books.

The shop owner and team members are always helpful and friendly to serve me even though English isn't my native language.

As I grew up in British Hong Kong, my mom's friend always gave us PG tips teabags for a gift. Although I didn't drink hot tea, I did like this tea after I became an adult.

British Expats should make a trip to visit if you are looking for British grocery and connect with British people.

Great selection, and I appreciated all the little explanatory notes about "we tried to import this thing/other flavour but couldn't because [various import restrictions]".

Also, the cash register makes old-school Mario noises when the item you chose is discounted.

We will likely go here again on future Vancouver trips.

We found this looking for a Pineapple Jam online, the person who answered the phone was friendly. When we arrived, the counter lady was very nice and even told me which pineapple jam she likes.

The real deal. Can’t believe it took me so long to find out about this place. Great spot for British and Irish sweets and teas. I went in for a browse and bought so much. What a way to get some of your favourite foods from the motherland.
I was very surprised by the black pudding and Wiltshire rashers.
Recommend this place to ex pats.

Was craving haggis and someone suggested this shop. They didn't have it frozen when I went, but I managed to get it in a can, which I'm sure will taste delicious on toast with cheese. They also had a large selection of frozen meats, sausage (including black pudding), and meat pies, as well as deserts, candies, curries, cheeses, canned goods and condiments. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely return the next time I'm craving British food.

Kind communication and great suggestions. Living away from home and Stephen helped me select popular items to gift to my parents as a nice treat. The delivery driver even sent along a nice photo of my dad with the goods. Thanks again!

Been coming here YEARS! As a Welsh expat this place is like a museum to home!

Everybody knows the value of comfort food, well this is absolutely a treasure trove of comforts.

Anyone missing their UK/IRELAND homeland or nostalgic for a previous life needs to visit at least once a year. The locally made produce like sausages, pies, and potato cakes are amazing too.

The staff are lovely and welcoming, they still kept things going despite the pandemic & have been great with protocols, including their adorable traffic light.

And hey, if you’re not even from that part of the world, go, explore, and try the packaged comfort foods! Don’t forget your Proper tea!!!!

I dropped in to get some bacon and ended up buying about half the store, I think. This is a great place that manages to capture the British corner shop feel amazingly well, and also has a selection of things I never expected to see here. The staff were really friendly and helpful too, just to cap it off. First time buyer and already a fan! Will definitely be back!

What a gem!! Tons of fantastic imports, reasonable prices, and lovely staff (all seemed like family?) who were cheerful and open to giving suggestions even though they were busy! I filled up my partners stocking with treats from here and he was beyond excited - will definitely be back! :)

so many treats from the UK, enough to try something new every time.

Update summer 2022: this place continues to be great. My favorite place to grab small bits: hand pies, sausages, candy, chips, and cookies. Nice cheese, drink, and magazine selection, too

A small, but niche shop with a great selection of reasonably priced UK and Irish snacks.

I'm a fan of import snacks, and I always come here to buy British/Irish snacks (typically Jelly Tots, Jammie Dodgers, and Dairy Milks) for myself and people close to me.

The McVitties have provided excellent customer service back when they ran the store, and I'm pleased to see that the new owners have maintained that service after they took control.

On a site note, the Mario coin sound is a joy to listen to every time an item's being scanned, and I find their way of maintaining inventory quite interesting. (I'm also saying this as a CS student who has her share of playing Nintendo games)

Tip: You may get a small discount if you choose to buy an item that's past its best before date. While it's sometimes okay to eat something after that date, YMMV.

Outstanding customer service!
I called to ask if they carried Union Jack face masks, which they unfortunately did not. But the person I spoke with called me back leaving a voicemail with 3 other places to check. I don’t know many businesses that would go out of their way to be helpful. Thank you for being incredible!

We ordered a bunch of stuff online for delivery. The staff were prompt and helpful. And the delivery driver was very friendly (called ahead of time to make sure we were home). Everything showed up in great condition and was delivered with care. Highly recommend!

Amazing range of Irish and British foods, some serious stuff like teas and pies but I mostly go for the snacks and sweets (candy) such as Milky Bars and Chewits. It's just like when i was a kid back in England in a sweet shop after school. Love it!

I have been buying PG tips, Typhoo, Marks and Spencer teas over 2 years. This is a hidden gem which has many kinds of British tea selections.
The service is always pleasant and the shop is tidy and organize.
The staffs are very patient to serve me even though English isn’t my first language.
I will recommend here if you are looking for British brand tea.

My second time visiting the Celtic Treasure Chest. They have the most knowledgeable and friendly staff and great inventory. They go out of their way to be helpful to clients and make shopping really easy (even during the pandemic). It's a 45 min drive for us but so worth it for any Irish goods we miss from home 🥰

I have long been a customer of Celtic Treasures, popping into the store for my British fix of foods and chocolates, I had eaten as a child, as had my son.
This past year I wanted to send parcels to my son and his wonderful family, who live on the Wild West coast of Vancouver Island.
Owner, Stephen, as always,
was most helpful in picking out my choices and boxing them up for posting.
This month I wanted two emblems of British life for my inspiring two grandchildren, who have perfected the posh English accent for their visit we are planning to London, when safety allows .
This particular parcel had a few missions. Firstly I had the idea of taking my dna estimate results , and as it is likely my grandchildren will have at least some similar dna, bringing the world to them by getting gifts from the cultures/nations listed. They are in serious lockdown and not traveling, as they did previously.
And secondly, to feed the desire I had fostered in my grandchildren for English chocolates.
My granddaughter just loved the Double Decker chocolates I sent last year. (She also loves London’s red double decker buses)
It was time for a top up and for the running staple of Cadbury flakes.
Stephen was enlisted for my English parcel collection (England is the dominant element in my dna) pointing me to two snow globes with Big Ben and the London Eye, which I am sure will charm my grandchildren.
Along with the chocolates and sweets , I bought Mrs Darlington’s high quality jam, which proclaims jams are “made with love”. I got the yummy gooseberry, perfect with scones and with a dollop with ice cream.
Jams have become very cool during the past year as toast and jam signals comfort, with sales up 23 pct in Britain.
A store to visit for sweet, savory and other marvelous
tastes on the spectrum.
