Good place to get groceries at reasonable price. You will get fresh vegetables at very low cost. The prices are very low compared with other big basket stores. The team members over here they are very humble and helpful. If something is not on self and you want it, they will arrange from backside. One opinion that they should increase the stock of Asian products. Love to shop from here. Even reliable advice for your medicine needs by pharmacists.

I’ve been going to the Highland Road Food Basics for several years.

Today I had my first experience where a young man actually came and got my cart for me and asked if I needed help when I was loading my groceries into my vehicle.

When I was a kid, this was the norm. However as an adult in Kitchener. This is the first time I’ve had someone actually come up actively when I wasn’t looking for help, ask if he could help me and if I was finished with the cart.

I asked the you many man for his name and it was Jaydn. Thank you Jayden, small gestures like this go a long way. We need to encourage this kinda stuff at stores these days.

What can I say about this place lol Its a good store. Can get bust at the cashier but it's just like any other place it has its busy & slow times!

Great price on Miss Vickies chips and Christie-Chips Ahoy/ Cadbury-Mini Eggs. Updated 11aug24: No wait time. Great deal on different lemon ice creams and pizza pops.

Always recommend with the great price and the people who work they are very helpful

This particular store is located on the Highland road. I've been shopping groceries here for 5 months straight now. I can tell their prices are relatively better than counterparts and ofcourse you'd get every basic thing you need.

it'd be lovely if they can stockup on more African items and food items.

Best pricing along with Walmart. Good deals on main stays like cheese.

Food Basics is my go-to grocery store. It's reliable, budget-friendly, The staff is friendly, and the store is well-organized for quick shopping. If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Good place for groceries especially if you are from India and looking for basmati rice for cheaper rates then this would be the best place.
Dates from boron is very cheap kindly go for it.

Great deals on food and drink and bathroom supplies! Also with animals supplies and cleaning agents. Super friendly staff and it's a very clean store. Speed of service is fast even during peak times.

The store on (Highland Rd. & Lawrence Ave) looks like the style that's the same as Fairway Rd location. Both stores had a renovation and thier setups are very similar (different due to size of store)

The stores setup is more functional now than before. So speed of shopping is now more efficient than before (I.M.O.)

From my point I would say it is well managed due to all aspects mentioned above.

I love Food Basics it is reasonably priced. I come here to pick up my grandma a few things. I live so close to here so I sometimes shop here.

Absolutely love the Highland food basics - amazing prices (most other grocery stores are 50% more for common items), and this specific food basics has an incredible selection of good quality produce and ethnic foods (Caribbean and Asian hot sauces, etc)

Food is cheap. Shelves are always stocked. Store is clean and tidy.
