Foodland Winchester

The Owner Dan is so involved in the local community! Can generally find everything, but especially we have access to local suppliers. The other bonus of this. It is open 24/7. Which is awesome for those of us who only have time for late night shopping.

We visited the grocery store before going camping and were nicely surprised by the warm welcome. The cashier was really friendly!

This is a great grocery store!! We are extremely fortunate to have a store owner in our area as caring as Dan is for our communities. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The store is always clean and very well stocked. Thank you for all you do!!

Clean, well kept, great service. Amazing experience with friendly staff, great selection, and supports/stocks Canadian brands like Shaw's Ice Cream and Covered bridge chips - which are hard to find in the city.

Staff are smiling, and acknowledge you with a friendly greeting as you pass by. It's a big box store, with a small box feel.

Highly recommend for fresh produce and great quality meat. They have an amazing selection of hot and ready made meals as well.

If you are passing through the area, definitely worth stopping in and checking out what they have - you will be pleasantly surprised if you are accustomed to the larger city grocery shopping experience.

One of the best places to shop for groceries in the area. I will drive out to Winchester rather than shop in Kemptville because the prices are just that much better at Foodland. The long opening hours have also saved me during many a late-night baking session! The store is always clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and usually very quick at scanning items. I've never had to wait very long in checkout queues.

All in all the store is excellent , it’s a bit pricier than some other stores. For some things it’s worth it, for others not. However by far the shining star of the store is the sushi chef, young gentleman and the team that he works with. Far above quality sushi than I have had in many dedicated sushi restaurants. The freshest ingredients, perfect crunch when it needs to be. The sushi rice is delicious too. New update: they make a new shrimp tacos sushi (see photo) that is like if a Mexican Taco has a love child with a Japanese shrimp roll.. I am lucky to live 5 mins away from here but I'd drive an hour if I had to

Always personable service with a smile. Good selection overall. Great Canadian products available, be nice if they were to showcase local/Canadian products more. Nice to see a bit more selection in international products but it works on a whim. Hours are convenient and beer/wine is always appreciated.

I spoke with Heather who was absolutely the best. She put together a Christmas Hamper order for our family in the area and did such a wonderful job that if there were 10 stars I
would give 10. THIS IS AN AMAZING STORE.

If I could give this foodland more than 5 stars I would. I had been asked by work to pick up some items for a staff lunch we were having and we needed a couple of cases of water. I am 4 months pregnant and I am not supposed to be lifting anything heavy. The staff not only helped me get it into my cart but the cashier actually came out and helped load it into my car for me. Great staff and great store! Thank you!

Really nice new store. Everything is good in this store. The baked goods are great, the aisles are clean. Beer selection is decent, staff is friendly. Parking lot is big and easy to get in and out of. One of the best things about living in Winchester is this store.

Love shopping at Foodland Winchester! The staff are always friendly, especially the women in the bakery - the best! Really enjoy picking up the rye seed bread, yummy. Excellent selection of cheese. Would be so happy to see more organic produce, some local 100% grass-fed beef, Organic Meadow milk and cream and other healthy sugar-free alternatives. Good selection of wine.

More sugar-free and organic, please.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the store and pleased not only with quality and choice but the shelves were well stocked.
The operating hours which is 24x7 is fantastic for shift workers. We would definitely recommend this store any chance get.

This is one of the best foodlands I've shopped at. The cleanliness of the store is impeccable, always have great specials on and you can't beat the food quality. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming.

Good store and good selection. I don't live in Winchester, but when I visit, I normally make a stop at Foodland. Love some of the baked goods I can't find in Kemptville.
