Honestly the best place to do your groceries on the western side of north van, it's never too busy so you don't have to worry about others moving you along while looking at products. Everything is always super fresh and stocked well and they have fantastic deals every week. Every single staff member is always cheerful and happy to help in anyway possible. Also it's very clean. I almost didn't want to right this review because I'd rather keep it hidden from the crowds but they definitely deserve a pat on the back for their service they provide the community.

I love shopping at Thrifties and the check out stations are compact so you have a more intimate check out. As I don't go often I find items not found at other markets, especially the ready made foods section is expansive so I seem to not leave without 4 bags plus it was after the new years so they had much on discount. The staff always friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer but males it a bit more exciting I go every now and then every trip is a success.

Regular thriftys, nothing new there. What makes it 5 stars is they have a discount bin at the front. 50% off items that I mostly don't need but could justify at a discount. More stores should be doing this to keep items out of the landfill, good on you Store Manager.

My favourite neighbourhood grocery store! I enjoy shopping here as the produce is fresh, good selection of products, store is clean, and friendly staff.

Parking is a breeze. They have the Sendial program which offers weekly shopping of groceries for seniors. Great for those who can’t get out to shop. Delivery rates are reasonable too!

There is a sushi counter inside this Thifty Foods, with a new operator, a sweet woman named JJ. Her sushi is delicious and fresh! If you’re looking for a quick and tasty meal or snack, I highly recommend you get some rolls made by JJ! The California roll is tasty and is hard to believe it’s from a grocery store!! This is probably the best kept secret of this shopping plaza!!

Love this store! Always have a great selection of groceries, great prices, and love that you can collect Scene points. The employees are really special. Will always shop here before any other chain.

This place has amazing staff. Manager of the meat department is really cool person and they always have reasonable prices. Great meat selection possibly the best seafood display. Also only store that has bison steaks both ribeye and ground bison meat.

Small but has all the right stuff, very clean produce section.

Their green goodness smoothie is the best. And the supa muffin to die for!

Best supermarket - has an amazingly large selection of super fresh fruit/veggies/meat/seafood. And friendly recipes (and staff) all over the store. Wish all supermarkets were this good!!

Very nice store with razonable prices, loved the lots of options to buy organic food.

3:15 pm. Not very busy. Butcher personally helped us select some quality steaks for bbq. One or more cash registers open with no lines.

This is our favourite local grocery store - big enough to have everything you need, small enough that you get to know the staff! Always clean, well-run, happy to shower the kids with stickers, and remind you of the free birthday cake when your children turn 1. Also love the British aisle that hits the spot when you're craving an authentic bar of Dairy Milk or Fruit & Nut. Only complaint is the lack of adequately secure bike parking in front of the shop. Grateful to have such a great store in our community!

Very clean and well stocked. The produce section is always very well tended with lots of selection (nice choices of seasonal mushrooms). Good discounts on sale items and you don't need to sign up for any memberships. General prices are competitive to Save on or Safeway, and the staff at the checkout are friendly and polite. Overall always quite happy when I shop here.

Pleasantly surprised by all the options! Thought it was like a No Frills, and it’s full of thrills! Every kind of meat one could imagine in the freezer section... alligator 🐊 too! Wow! They have everything and good prices to boot, a fun food adventure worth checking out- something for everyone!

5 stars mainly inspired by those big sausage rolls at the deli area that are somehow only $1.99. They look like they could be $4.

But overall experience has always been great here. My wife and I often make the trip over from Downtown. The variety is nice and there are often good deals to be had in the meats section.

Family vibes, great food selection (both hot and cold), really great prices too! A fresh made and delicious sandwhich is gunna run you $5 before tax where other stores are out here charging $7 for a simple sandwich. Stay awesome thriftys north van 🫰

This has been my favorite grocery store to shop in, staff are always friendly and welcoming. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have put their safety, and the customers safety as a #1 priority. Sanitizing cart's and basket's oh and they also have good deals on food.

The managers cashiers and all the team are super nice! Their carts are super clean. The bakery has moved and I still miss that but this store still is super place because it is so clean. They rock!!
