Steak was really good. We also ordered fries, artisjok, and asperges. All very tasty with grill flavors. One person spoke English so we good order in English, which was super. We ordered Filette ( 400 gram) and shared this dish with the two of us. With the side plates it was more than enough. And we ordered two drinks. Total cost was 32000

Very nice people and solid food. I only speak English and they were very accommodating. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I gave them special candles to put on his dessert. They sing a song and brought it for free.

From the warm welcome and awesome service from Barbara (in English no less) to the delicious steaks, we had an exceptional meal and evening at Parilla Candil. The Pisco sours were perfect and the wine recommended (Notables 9) was excellent. We would definitely come again!

Upscale steakhouse. Many meat selections served sizzling on a hot stone platter. Doneness prepared to order. Beautiful inside.
Relaxed pace, don't expect to eat in a hurry.

This is an excellent venue.

In the U.K. the size of steaks pale in comparison. Get used to large in Chile when you order steak.

Think two to three times the size of a normal portion in the U.K.

The food here is excellent. Fried Empanadas are delicious. The steak is succulent and cooked to around medium.

One tip in Chile, they will not ask how you want your steak cooked. It is variable unless you ask.

(For example, I am not sure that they will understand the meaning of blue anywhere. This will be alien, I think!)

The dessert, I had Creme Brulee, is one of the best I have ever tasted.

It is enough to share as well.

You will need to get used to large portions in Chile. It is often beyond what our American cousins deem to be big.

The staff here are very attentive and friendly.

Now, for me, the reason to visit Santa Cruz, the wine.

In this restaurant there is a wide range of wine available by the bottle. It is not over priced either.

You have a limited option by the glass and, despite the limitations, you will not be disappointed.

I had two glasses of the Carmenere.

It is simply delicious!

Do not think that the house wines are going to be anything like those in the U.K. This is a region where the wines are some of the best in the world.

This is reflected in the very high quality of the house wines.

The house Carmenere had some nice tears in the glass; the bouquet was strawberry, blue berry, ginger and more. The taste was light, not heavy, and stayed on the sides of the tongue and gently warmed the throat. It was not too heavy; it was light.

My advice, just try it.

This has made a visit to the vineyard of this wine a must visit trip later today.

It was also a nice touch that on International Women's day the restaurant gave to the ladies in our party a choice of a free drink.

They chose the sparkling wine. Again, it is delicious, light and full of flavours from a wine of the region.

My advice, this is a top restaurant that has the look of a Beefeater or Harvester, in the U.K., but, it is so very, very much more.

Try it!

So nice late evening dinner. Plates were huge. Meat perfectly cooked, ribs was glased. Chevice was good but more like a carpacio. Service worked perfectly. Waiter were constantly present. Strong recommendation!

this is the place for everything meat related in the valley! attention is perfect, food is AMAZING, and prices are good! Please make a favor and run away from the exclusive bs in the area, +they have all the wines.

Ordered flat iron, and some friend the asado de tira which will blow you.

If you visit the wine country around Santa Cruz, you must dine here! Food, wine fantastic, extremely reasonable prices and unique ambiance. Super friendly staff too. A short Uber ride outside the city (Uber works!) well worth the trip.

Rica parrillada aunque había algunas piezas de cerdo más crudas que no llegaron a cocinarse y la parrilla se enfrió pronto.
El ambiente y la atención es excelente, el lugar es muy cómodo y cuenta con un amplio estacionamiento

Hermoso lugar, distante del bullicio de la urbe empotrado a las faldas del cerro un lugar rústico y acogedor para cualquier ocasión, exelente personal una impecable presentación sin duda una de mis lugares top 10 del valle de colchagua.

Excelente lugar, atención ágil y amable, en cuanto a los platos muy ricos en sabor y el tamaño grande, la ambientación muy acorde, fuimos sin reserva y nos atendieron rápido y los platos se demoraron lo adecuado en llegar, pedimos entrada, por tanto el servicio fue más que adecuado, hace mucho tiempo no encontraba tan buen lugar, sobretodo en el sabor de sus preparaciones.

Una vez más un placer comer en parrilla candil, esta vez tomahawk con vegetales a la parrilla mi esposo y yo pedí de acompañamiento pastelera de choclo, postre churros con manjar y helado, pisco souer y jugos de fruta natural también exquisitos.
Porciones abuntandes pero lo mejor todo exquisito, y mención aparte la atención del garzón dn.Eduardo.
Un 10/10 en todo....
No tomé fotos de la carne y tragos pero valen la pena pedirlos....
