Restaurant was excellent! The whole atmosphere is really good, I went with a group of people from Europe and they were amazed about the quality of the food and the service! Absolutely coming back . Desserts are a no brainer, so delicious !

I would recommend to get a table in the garden! Service wasn’t super fast, but reasonable. Food was very tasty and great menu options. Definitely worth coming a couple of times to try different things!

This is a beautiful restaurant in a outdoor garden style setting in villa de Leyva. Our waiter Yaiber was amazing in explaining all of the dishes and giving suggestions.

For food and drinks try the following:

Start with a juice they are all natural (I tried the mango)
The martini was perfect and chilled.
Artichoke with goat cheese sauce.
Guacamole 🥑 with plantain chips.
The calabrese pizza was amazing and the dough was so good it was definitely a Neapolitan style and delicious.

They have their own butcher shop and offer a number of cuts of meat to pick from. I tried the New York steak 🥩 and it was good. They bring the cuts to your table so you can pick it and the weight you would like.

Another entree to try is the posta which is served with coconut rice and the meat is cooked in their underground oven. The meat was very tender and flavorful in it's sauce.
Lastly the barbeque de cordero es delicious with the rice and vegetables. 😋

For desserts the coconut pie and the guava cheesecake with arequipe were very good.

I would definitely return to this restaurant! Keep up the great work and delicious food!

Wonderful food in a really beautiful garden setting. Loved my time here so much that came here twice during my short visit. The pizza was not spectacular, but everything else, the meet and the deserts were amazing. Highly recommend (except for the pizza...).

First time visit Villa de Leyva whit my family and fiancé.
Mercado Municipal have a excellent location and a great inside patio with a fresh air.
The server MAFE give us a amazing service and a experience with excellent attention ❤

Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Villa de Leyva. This was our first visit after it reopened and the safety protocols were excellent, you have a little table besides your table so there's no contact between you and the waiter. We ordered a octopus and a lamb barbecue. The octopus was a bit lacking in salt the lam was perfect. The highlight was the brownie tart.

Lovely patio garden restaurant in very green setting. One of the best places to have a good quality dinner, surely for meat, fresh cuts presented at your table to choose from. Friendly, quick and professional service. Came back a second time during my 3 day visit to wonderful Villa de Leyva. No fish on the menu.

Absolutely delicious. If you don’t like this place, there’s something wrong with you. Really fun atmosphere, super people working here from the chefs to the wait staff, and delicious food! Sit near the bbq to see the magic ☝🏼

Great food for a fair price. Service was nice. had a nice atmosphere and a good selection of food. The kitchen had multiple open sections where they cooked the food which added a nice touch to the place. Would recommend eating here.

Service is not the best.
Waited for almost an hour to get the meals after we placed the order, and the place wasn't bussy.

Simply put, the best restaurant for local dishes made with local ingredients. Although, your wallet better be PHAT. Or bring some plastic.

we came here for dinner twice and loved both times. the food was very creative and very well done. Some vegetarian options. We had the guacamole, the artichoke (amazing) and the sausage stuff as starters, wok (really tasty), abuelas meat, and pizza - everything was great. Service was absolutely lovely.

Great local food with a relaxing outdoor vibe. I recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy the feeling of being in the garden. We loved the guayaba Martini.

I struggled to find good restaurants in Villa de leyva but I must say this one was by far one of the best ones. The place is huge and beautiful. Don’t miss out on the amazing desserts!!!
