Casa Museo Hacienda El Paraíso

It a beautiful place to visit. Very romantic and a lot of history.

This is a place full of historical literacy importance. I felt like I had traveled back in time. This place has a magical atmosphere that you have to experience in person. The smells, the sounds, the architecture... simply amazing!

It's the better experience that had in my vacations, I like Jorge Isaac for the book and the history from it, The History pass in this House. Excellent human services, the people that work there it's so dedicated for the museum , I feeled like a romantic dream.

Very romantic atmosfere and it's a true story writen in the 1800's of the novel maria.

Such a lovely and well preserved place. The story is even better. I definitely recommend the visit 👍
UPDATE - I visited again and things have changed, Park outside the house has more options to eat and enjoy. ALSO, I absolutely enjoyed the story teller at the house, you can tell he has passion for the story and his job. Bravo! House is as beautiful as ever and well kept.

Beautiful gardens, inspiring grounds and great history . The tour guides are excellent! To fully appreciate you must have Spanish language skills of course.

The place is awesome. Just let take you into Jorge Isaac's Efrain and Maria story and walk through the rooms of an old but rich house. Then, go just in front of the hacienda and enjoy the different dishes from Valle del Cauca. Also hire a paragliding tour and enjoy the atmosphere in Valle del Cauca.

Omg the history that house have and the beautiful story behind it is amazing...all the furniture still intact from the 1800s and the constitution of the whole thing still the same way....the water fall that is behind the "hacienda" is running all around and through the house, they constructed some water canal so the water can run freely...it is just amazing being there

Off the beaten path a little bit. But what a beautiful walk through the past. And even more spectacular views of the valley (Valle del Cauca) below. And the mountains behind the home. Nicely landscaped and informative tour (in Spanish of course).
