Amazing food, wonderful staff, and a great view from the beach!

The fish and shrimp ceviche tasted very fresh. The club sandwich also had nice ingredients and bread.

You can sit on the beach among the trees to enjoy the view and the sound of the waves.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Only in Manzanillio for a few days, and I even returned for dinner which was also amazing!

5☆ across the board! Excellent wait staff, friendly, attentive, and trained to a high level. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings, right on the beach, under trees with lights strung above. The food was delishous and expertly prepared. This is a "not to miss dinner experience"! They moved us effortlessly, "inside" for dessert, when the rain stared.

This is the best restaurant in the area! The food is amazingly delicious and meets very high standards. The atmosphere is great and the owners are friendly and welcoming. We visited twice, for lunch and dinner and would visit again and again if we stayed more.

The food was very good, the service was timely and friendly. Took a stop here after visiting the national park, its a short walk.

We had a perfect day on the beach across the street from the restaurant. The service is impeccable. They come over and take your drink order and are very attentive. They make sure to ask you if you want ice if they see It has melted in your drink. They actually brought me an ice bucket and left it at my little table by my lounge chair. When you are out of drink, they are right there to ask you if you would like something else. They are happy to run a tab for you so you don't have to pay each time they deliver a drink.

When the sun started to go down, we moved from our lounge chairs to a dinner table a little further back, but we still had a gorgeous view of the beach/ocean. When it starts to get dark they turn on strands of lights that really adds to the ambiance. The food is absolutely superb! The cocktails were pretty awesome as well. The wait staff is super friendly and again, very attentive.

This has been our favorite restaurant. We've been there twice now. In 6 weeks. We would have been there a lot more often, but we were staying over an hour away. We have decided that if we return to Costa Rica we will stay closer to Manzanillo. We met some new friends where we are staying and they went with us this last time and they really enjoyed it as well.

Highly recommend! Super friendly and kind family business. Delicious food - highly recommend the vegetable Casado platter. Great portions at very fair price. Our waitress was exceptional - even surprised us with an amazing, homemade dark chocolate brownie for my husband’s birthday! Unexpected and much appreciated.

The best restaurant of the area. It is located by the beach in a very calm village. The food is amazing and very tasteful as they have fresh fish and unique food fusion. The owners and the staff are always kind and smiley. I totally recommend the place especially the nights with the live music.

One of the top restaurants in this town. The people who work here clearly love what they do. We came here every day for drinks and enjoyed the beach view. Plus the food is super!

Wow. Fantastic. I was over-impressed with this place. There were tables right on the beach with prompt service (almost never happens in Caribe Sur), beer came with cold glass, and a wine list. Yes, I said a wine list. Utensils were brought to the table along with hot sauce, napkins, etc.

For lunch I had ceviche with patacones & a side of re-fried beans. The ceviche was served in two pearled half-shells, nice presentation. Water is served at the table with a glass without asking, which is great. Food was delicious.

I'm excited to go back to try something else.

We arrived late at night and they still created a wonderful experience for us: We ate at the beach literally three steps away from the ocean, fairy lights in the trees. The food is phenomenal and the service is above average kind. They made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We also stayed in their appartements and it was also a very pleasant experience. I can recommend Colores to everyone, wo visits the carribean coast. Thank you to the staff for making the beginning of our vacation so special! ❤

Super nice spot by the beach. Staff incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was OK (i took the oven red snapper which stiff had some gut remaining, my wife the tuna trio which was probably not locally fished).

We made a 2 day trip out to Manzanillo. We came in for dinner on Friday and the dinner was tasty. Nikolas was pleasant and communicated well with us. We ended up going fishing the next day and caught some Red Snapper. I planned on cooking, but decided to ask Nikolas if they were open to cooking it for us with some sides. He happily agreed. See pic of the snappers. It was delicious. I would recommend and if I am near Manzanillo again, I will go back.

No wonder it ranks as the best restaurant in Manzanillo. Superb food, amazing view of the carribean sea, great cocktails, beach chairs offers you a chill afternoon - recipe for one of the best days spent in the area. We went there the very next day again too.

Host Nikolas and Marcella were welcoming and adding to the personalized service for us (with 2 kids). Nikolas offered to prepare the baked fish with salt for the dinner as we had exhausted the whole menu in 2 days 😅. Wish I had taken more pictures of the dishes, but alas they were so delicious we just dug in. 😬

Thank you Marcella, Nicholas (and Artemis) for making our stay in Manzanillo so special. A wonderful family run restaurant which we went back to time and time again whilst staying at Congo Bongo. The food, atmosphere and service were all fantastic.

They put a table for the three of us directly in front of the beach. We only got some beers that we paid for with the typical prices here. however, it’s worth it because the place deserves it and the food we saw on the other tables was of quality. Go because it’s worth

The food was really tasty. We had the burger, chevice, and the catch of the day. We can recommend all three. The location direct on the beach is wonderful. The staff is so friendly.

I have been here for a week. They have treated me like a queen! The food is so well made and tasty and healthy that you should not pass up a chance to eat here. Everything is good. The beach is wonderful, you can swim right out front of where you lounge on the restaurants lounge chairs. Bottom line, this place is classy.

It's simple : I love everything about this place. The owners and the staff are perfect, extremely professional, efficient, kind and they pay attention to every details. Every meals I have tried were really good, with high quality products, perfect size portion and very good presentation. The menu has a large variety of meals and they have menu cards in at least 3 different languages (spanish, english and french, with no spelling mistakes, another proof of their attention to details). Finally, the spot couldn't be more perfect, with the tables set on the beach, a few meters away from the sea. No loud music, tables are spaced enough to have private conversations, and everything is clean and pretty. And they offer all that for a fair price! They never disappoint, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Fresh and delicious food very near the coast. The fish was very well cooked and the staff were beyond helpful and nice 🥰

Great location and wonderful hosts. We came back most nights during our stay, the kids refused to go anywhere else.
