The big garden really impresses with manicured gardens that are absolutely gorgeous. At the same time the Berggarten fascinates with letting the visitor feels as if in they’re in nature enjoying different plants that grow there.
There are also great opportunities to rest at both gardens.
Staff has always been really nice and with a yearly ticket it’s quite affordable as well. Highly recommend.
The Berggarten is right across the street from the big garden.

Nice park to walk around. There are some interesting statues and fountains. I think it’s worth getting the combo ticket that includes Berggarten and Herrenhauser.

A must visit location when travelling Hannover, Germany.
With the regular ticket €8 (for €5 students) a person can visit the museum, the garden and beer garden [on the other side of the road).
However, one can visit the three different zones on separate days (each only for once).
My tips: 1. visit the garden on a single day, and schedule a separate day for the museum and the beer garden.
2. Check the booklet or website for exact time ⌚ of fountains ⛲ being on. [★]

This is worth visiting. It’s a beautiful and enchanting place to be at. The fountains, the greenery and the palace are beautiful. I personally enjoyed the grotto which was actually the highlight of my visit.

6 euro entrance fee. But worth it. Amazing landscapes to capture. And free parking available with lots of spaces.

Beautiful place for a little stroll or to take pictures, only costs like 8 euros. The fountain closes mid day though so come early if you want to see it on.

Nice baroque gardens likely even more lovely in the summer. More interesting to me and a bit more Wild Are the Berg Garten area across the street. More winding and magical seeming there are plenty of interesting plants and lovely places to sit with two enclosures for a stunning display of orchids and tropical plant and another with desert plants. Don’t feed the groundhog though

I recently visited Herrenhäuser Garten and was blown away by its magnificence. The park is incredibly green and lush, and there are so many small fountains scattered throughout. But the real showstopper is the massive central fountain - it's absolutely stunning.

During my visit, I noticed that many of the trees didn't have leaves yet. It's possible that these are the type of trees that don't leaf out until later in the season, but I'm not sure. Regardless, the lack of leaves didn't detract from the park's beauty.

Overall, Herrenhäuser Garten is a great place to unwind and chillax. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

It is a great museum out under the sky. The visitors can see a well planned large park with a system of fountains. They are 10 - 12 huge fountains and ten smaller ones. Around 32 statues from Greek mithology decorate the main garden. Fantastic! Beautiful ! Stunning place !

Well manicured and maintained garden expertly laid out over a vast expanse of land. Lots of history and ancient architecture to behold. Highly recommend for those who Like a scenery. Must visit when the Sun is low. Usually not crowded.

The gardens are very beautiful! There are statues, pretty trees, fountains, hedges, some fruit areas, and I even saw some animals and insects (birds, butterflies, bees, squirrels, and I even heard an owl). Really beautiful overall!

There is always a reason to keep coming back here, the gardens are just so beautifully designed and well maintained. Keep your eye out for events over the festival period, makes a great location to take in some culture. Really to get money's worth from admission price, pack a picnic basket and spend an afternoon inside.

Loved it, the Garden was really nice. The only thing I think that they can improve on is the fact that most items in the museum are in German. Here's the catch, not everyone speaks German. So if the have the souvenirs that read in English or the books about botanical garden translated in English for those who can't read nor speak the language that would be awesome. Overall a really nice place to visit with kids, could be use for educational purposes. Well maintained.

Great historical garden, with a small museum. Perfect for a strall, a small picnic or a date. There are several benches in the garden and you can leave your backpack in the building locked in a closet for free. The staff is kind, nice and helpful. Definitely worth your time if you are here in Hannover.

Easily accessible by train, cycling and by foot from the city centre. It's a traditional and very well kept building situated in splashy, expansive and well-maintained gardens. It's the go-to place for events or even for relaxation.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. It needs at least 4/5 hours to enjoy the place. So many places to take pictures. Student can get a discount for the entry tickets.
