Great museum including classic art works from 500 years ago to now, also a lot of modern art options and photos also available. Customer service is nice, friendly and collaborative, security guards also polite and aware. I spent an hour but it worth to spend more. Garden also is beautiful and quiet a venue.

A museum showcasing many beautiful historical paintings. There's lots of interesting events taking place there, so it's worth checking agenda before visiting.
Hint: if you visit the city history museum before, you can enter here for free!

Incredible museum! I like how modern and stylish the building and interior are. With all these old paintings in those beautiful gold frames - it looks breathtaking. I walked for like 1.5 h and then found a bunch of bean bags where I rested for another hour with free museum wifi 😂

Overall, I loved the experience: keep being so amazing!

Love the space and the front garden. Such a beautiful villa and a descent collection of art.

Visited twice with 2 different temporary collections. Both were nicely displayed and well researched.

Very well organized museum in the city park. The villa garden is very calm and has a relaxing atmosphere. The entry fee is 5 euros and it’s closed on Tuesdays.

You can’t be the €3 price for this beautiful space. They put work into the rotating exhibits and education on their permanent albeit humble collection.

My 3 y.o. son loves museums, so we've visited this one today and it was great! The staff is very friendly and helpful, there are a lot of beautiful paintings that are very interesting even for the little ones (animals, sea ships, children portraits) and there is a large room with projections on the wall, where the museum paintings are animated (this part is indeed impressive for children as well as adults). Overall 5 stars ❤

Perfectly arranged and very romantic. You are going to miss a lot if you skip Villa in your Luxembourg visit.

A tranquil museum that exhibits many pieces of valuable artwork. I like the initial 3D show of the whole exhibition

This was a lovely museum, as we say in Germany "klein aber fein" and the 3D animated exhibit was a fun experience. For tourists who have only a little time to spend in Luxembourg, this would be one of the top 2 museums I would recommend visiting (the Museum of History and Art being my top choice)

a nice place with varying exhibitions. bringing children is okay. the exhibitions will probably not interest them but there is a side room, full of cushions on the floor and books for children. a nice idea. sometimes, there are workshops for children. in summer, the garden in front of the villa is open for everybody. chairs and tables are provided for everybody to bring their own lunch. during 90 minutes around noon a mobile vendor is in three lobby of the museum to cater for hungry office workers... this is a museum that really tries to be part of everyday society...

A very nice and cosy museum, we spent there a good afternoon with our young kids. The small size of the museum is compensated by the quality of the collections. And we had the feeling of being alone with the paintings and sculptures.

A well designed renovation of an existing building, set in a beautiful park; perfect for its purpose. Well laid out exhibits with plenty of information, especially considering guide books can be borrowed from the reception free of charge. Some true masterpieces to be observed, the building itself being one of them.
