Great dinner with friends. The place isn't special but the food is very, very good and the staff is in a good mood. It is one of the great portuguese restaurants in Luxembourg.
If you think you aren't into portuguese food, try this one. ;)

Incredible food with perfect service. Hugo recommended us so good fish, he tried to read what we were looking for and advised with very good eye. We will recommend this place!!

As I remember that night i had a few drinks already but this place had a very good salmon dish. It was cooked to perfection and the salmon fell apart to the knife and in mouth it just melted.

The food was also very good and I of course enjoyed the atmosphere and company.

We had a lovely Portuguese experience at Beirão restaurant. The meals were hearty and copious. Excellent service! We recommend the grilled sea bass.

Excellent! Tasty, good quality, good presentation, fairly priced. Portions are very generous, maybe a bit too generous! Staff is friendly and attentive.

This is a really good portuguese restaurant. We had the gambas Beirão, wich comes with a sauce that reminds me of bisque de homard. I liked it but personally prefer the simple gambas "flambé" with garlic and oil. As this is a personal preference, I still give 5 stars. The gambas were excellent, the service even more so. I don't think the staff could have been even nicer or more attentive than it was. I had the crème brulée as desert, it was scrumptious. Well done, Beirão! I will for shure return.

This is by far the best Portuguese restaurant in Luxembourg. We had our lunch at the end of December, in this little place in Dommeldange and there is nothing I regret. The interiors are not so pretentious and simply arranged, giving the impression that substance has a preference over form, and indeed, having a look at the menu confirms that what our kind Mr. José has to offer is 100% real and authentic food, traditional and modern at the same time with no fussy additions. The menu is short, sign of a well-thought platter of freshness.Their Bacalhau à lagareiro is the work of a genius: in addition to the original recipe that sees a perfectly cooked cod served with jacket potatoes, a little "Italian" twist that does not scream funky fusion at all, i.e. just a pinch of pan fried "cime di rapa" to complement the fish and the starches with the right amount of moisture. Fantastic. A good selection of Portuguese wines accompany the copious servings, and the prices are really honest compared to all those fake restaurants so popular in the country. The team of Mr. José gives the impression of being too busy but in the end you will leave the place with the impression that they have taken proper care of you. A great experience for all those who love real food and hard working people. Chapeau.

Great staff. Great meat, cooked exactly as requested.
For me, the starters could be slightly smaller (and priced accordingly).

5* for the steak
Perfectly cooked to medium, juicy, tender, flavorful. The wine sauce is bombastic. The fries are crisp on the outside, soft inside.
Service is fast and attentive.

This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Luxembourg

Went there several months ago, had to add that during the Luxembourg trip, this was the best restaurant we went. The Octopus and the Tenderloin tasted amazing. As with other Luxemboug restaurants, portions are on the bigger side.
