Erstes Ulmer Pfannkuchenhaus - Allgäuer Hof

My family loves this place. Giant pancakes, sweet or savory. Both are delicious. My eldest son made me promised to bring him back as soon as I can.

Food menu is extremely family friendly.

I ordered the giant meat everything pancake (see the incredible picture of you don't believe it). It was so amazing, though I don't think my heart could take that more than on a special occasion.

They did have an English menu, but ordering using Google Translate wasn't hard either.

It gets very busy. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

UPDATE: Had to visit one more time before leaving Germany. Add the Greek gyro pancake to the delicious list.

I got both the Kaseschnitzel (cheese schnitzel) with spaetzle, and a German pancake with Nutella. Both could have been large meals in themselves, but I completely devoured both. Largest portions I saw anywhere in Germany, and delicious. Great service, as well.

Friendly staff and excellent food. Place seems well-loved by locals and tourists alike, so if you plan to go for dinner...call well ahead to make a reservation. We were lucky enough to visit during a quite lunch hour. Eiscafe is also really good and refreshing. Some seating averrable outdoors.

Easy to find this kind place and I really recommend you to eat Breaded veal cutlet with a large salad plates 👍

The waitress here were really professional and obviously like their job. Find out about it online so was planning on it to be loaded out, but lucky they were in a position to cater to us. Great food and cocktails too, you won't be disappointed. Eaten here plenty of time, waiters often outstanding and no issues about the meals. The expense of the food was less than expected, my sis And I were really happy. Yummy food that caters to everyone's choices.

We had a wonderful pan cake with different varieties. We have requested in own style it was made for kid. Thanks for the wonderful team

Down to earth food of great quality at a cozy German traditional ambiente with friendly staff. Located in the oldest part of Ulm, this is definitely a recommendation when you visit this lovely city! At the weekend during lunch and dinner times it is recommended to have a reservation. Definitely a must-visit during your Ulm stay.

Really nice little rustic restaurant. They don't have much tables and you can't make reservations on Saturdays. But its always worth to just come by. You may be seated together with other guests. They have tables outside in the summer, so better chance for a table.
The food is the best!

Very tasty crepes with great selection of different tastes. We had some with apple sauce and pineapple for the breakfast. Would definitely want to try other ones on the next visit there! Unfortunately the wait was a bit long even on 11am.
