Nice place with atmosphere. German cuisine, excellent draft beer of different varieties. You can order a tasting of three local beers. Black beer is beyond praise. Large portions, the schnitzel is simply huge. I highly recommend the Ochsenbäckhen, ox cheeks in red wine sauce. Excellent fast service, attentive and helpful staff. On weekends and high season, it is better to book in advance.

Incredible Swabian food! I had the schweinehaxe with spätzle (I don’t like knödel) and a weizenbier and everything was fantastic. The haxe is huge, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The spätzle were maybe a touch soft for my taste, but the buttery flavour was very nice. The wheat beer was refreshing and went perfectly with the rest of the meal. Highly recommend for a lovely traditional meal.

I really enjoyed having lunch here. The weather was so nice and the tables near the open window provided a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was very good and the food very delicious 😋

Great atmosphere. One of the best Pork Knuckles I ever had. Some great fresh bier too - very good selection. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our requests. No reservation was needed but we came in around 9 and was still busy so may want to consider a reservation. Also, we only speak English and staff was able to communicate with us no problem. Hopefully can visit again and definitely recommend.

You can try a wide variety of beers here.There are beer machines dating back to the 1700s in the store. I'm quite impressed.

We wanted to try German cuisine while we are here on vacation and so we came here. We tried the turkey schnitzel and the Ochsenbäckchen - highly recommend this! The meat was so tender and it was super filling! Would love to come again whenever we visit!

Excellent Beer. My favourite beers were the Barfüßer blonde and the IPA. They do have a beer tasting palette. Great ambience and superb service. Reservations are a must specially on weekends. The brewery is located right in the heart of Ulm. One can park at the Rathaus Parkhaus and walk to this brewery.

Quick and friendly service! Good prices for excellent typical Swabisch Food and very Tasty Beers from the tap from the House Brewery. The Germans are known for good beers and good accompanying food, so you can't go wrong here. Very recommendable.

Kitchen closes at 23hr...but ordering 1min before closing was no problem....very cool!

I tried the most popular their craft blonde beer. It is smooth and tasty. Definitely worth trying

Nice beers and Bavarian foods. Originally visited the last place before they moved to here. The last restaurant was “traditional” look, now it has “modern” look.

One of the best dining places in Ulm. Perfect atmosphere for a nice evening dinner with friends or family. Good food good beer and good service!! 5 star all the way!!

Nice outdoor seating area. The food and service were excellent.

Very nice food and good draft beer. Schweinhaxe and schweinbraten was very soft and juicy. The beer sauce was also very tasty. I liked their sauerkraut not to be too fermented or sour but more freshly made, going very nicely with pork dishes.

A flight of 3 (0.1l each) was 4.50 euros from a choice of 10 beers on tap. Absolutely delicious food - we had the wild boar burger with a berry mayonnaise and sweet potato fries, and meatball with roasted onions and cheese spätzle.
Service was very friendly, though perhaps just a tad bit slow, given that it wasn't crowded. But we didn't mind as we weren't in a hurry.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Munich. Food was excellent! Service was very good; they were able to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation.

Very nice place for beer and food in Ulm. After a long car trip, to have a tasty and hearty meal was all we needed. The beer was delicious and varied, definitely go for the sampler too. The staff was polite, helpful and provided us with English menus promptly, when they noticed we were translating the German ones. Excellent place!

Amazing menu with lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Good location with wheelchair accessibility. Nice place to eat with lots of room for big parties.

Service was quick and prompt even for a busy place. Food was very yummy at least the Ochsen. Mmm melted in my mouth. Beer, was nice. Would go again.

The best Weißbier in the town. In the summer really nice place to sit outside. Tasty food, especially the Brauhaus Burger is good. Almost always friendly and fast service. Slightly higher prices than the average, since raising those, but not outrageous yet.

Modern brewery with nice local food & good service. Having a family dinner of six - no doubts to visit it one more time
