Ulmer Rathaus

Very special building with colorful paintings and details. Almoust like a huge history book, these paintings, writings and coat of arms tell a lot about Ulm's past.Especially the huge and complex astronomical clock is worth the visit.

No visitor misses the 3 most important hotspots of Ulm - the Münster, the "Schiefe Haus" and the very special "Rathaus" with its colorful paintings and details. Almoust like a huge history book, these paintings, writings and coat of arms tell a lot about Ulm's past - if you have the time, join one of the guided tours. The active townhall interior is nice, but renovated - the storytelling outside and especially the huge and complex astronomical clock is worth the visit on the way down to the Danube or Fischerviertel.

A very beautiful building. Interesting area. A small piece of the old city has been preserved.

Wasn't open but it can take a while to just see it from the outside because of the artwork that it's been made to be

One of the most beautiful town halls I have seen around Europe. Richly decorated with historical frescoes on every side.

Antique building and best building in the nearest 100m, not including the the Münster.
The mayor is sitting here so I'd give 4.9 stars.

Wunderschönes Rathaus und somit kleines Highlight der Altstadt von Ulm. Der Stil der frührenaissance ist sehr beeindruckend und der Kontrast zu den modernen Gebäuden in Ulm ist nahezu verrückt.

Dieses wunderschöne Rathaus aus der Frührenaissance gehört für mich zu den absoluten Highlights in der Historie Ulms.
Besonders beeindruckend sind die vielfältigen Wandgemäle und die astronomische Uhr.
Wer sich für die Geschichte der Stadt interessiert, wird an dem Gebäude nicht vorbei kommen.

Jeden z najpiękniejszych ratuszy, jakie widziałem, nie tylko w Niemczech. Wybudowany został w drugiej połowie XIV wieku a od początków XV pełnił już funkcję siedziby władz miejskich. Fasada ratusza została pomalowana na pomarańczowo, a na ścianach widnieją freski przedstawiające m.in. sceny z Biblii. Na uwagę zasługuje też zegar astronomiczny z początków XVI wieku. W środku, przy wejściu do restauracji znajduje się replika maszyny latającej, którą miejscowy krawiec chciał wykorzystać do latania nad Dunajem.
