Zum Schatten - Ulm

This place is incredible! We arrived to their small, quaint brewpub, and instantly felt like we belonged. The staff spoke English (a huge plus for us Americans) and very friendly. They sat us at a table of Germans who were regulars and they helped us decide on ordering schnitzel which apparently Zum Schatten is is known for having the largest schnitzel around. We ordered, got our food and were VERY impressed. It was absolutely delicious. Their beer options were also very good and simple. Thankful we found this place. Make it your dinner tonight!

Best Schnitzel ..we take all of our visitors from the States to Zum Schatten for dinner so they can experience German schnitzel at its best .. Highly recommend. You won't go away hungry !!

Schnitzel is my favourite GERMAN Food and I headed to the most popular schnitzel restaurant in Ulm.I loved the food here.Its all fresh served by courteous staff and the ambience makes you enjoy your meal to fullest.People do try this.

Best place for schnitzel in Ulm neighborhood. The size is incredible, good and not deep fried.
Good price too. Suggested reservation in the weekend.

Perfect taste of our German special food, try it with Spaetzle or fries and with salad - all combinations are perfect- as an add on you can select a very good Weizen. Enjoy it!!

Amazing restaurant! Always very full, and the portions are huge! You get a lot of food for a good price! A bit of a wait, but your food will always come out hot! Highly recommend.
