This is a particularly beautiful part of Strasbourg, down by the canal area. Early morning is good but I'm afraid the River Cruise groups do tend to crowd the narrow streets.

It’s gorgeous and it’s typical. Get lost in the streets and stop for food and drinks. It can get very busy but you won’t be disappointed

As a tourist this place was adorable. Lots of little shops, cafes and photo opportunities. I walked around and just enjoyed the scenery. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy.

I've Really felt in love with this city. i can't wait to get back to this place. Don't miss walking around lots of areas in the city. make sure you walk at night as well.

everywhere in the city is just a walking distance, so taking a bus isn't a must.

The city is really beautiful, i wish i had spent more time than 1 day in it <3

i will let my Photos describe everything.

I don't think I have yet to see a prettier offering in a city setting. It is absolutely stunning, and you don't need to be a great photographer to capture great images. It is exactly as brochures depict. We have to revisit and spend more time exploring this beautiful French city.

So here we are, back again, in September 2023. Weather absolutely gorgeous in Strasbourg, and La Petite France manages to stay unique and captivating. What amazes me is how the changing light can alter the perspective and produce different imagery of the same scene to those taken in 2022. A lovely place to hang out.

Loved the picturesque place in Strasbourg with scenic landscape, canals, flowers, bridges, little souvenir shops and cute cafés and restaurants. Something that nobody should miss after seeing the huge breathtaking cathedral in Strasbourg.

Small lovely area in Strasbourg. Old buildings with flowers at windows and on the bridges. Nice places where you can eat or just drink a coffee next to a fluffy croisant. The best nougat you will find it there.

Amazing old world architecture in the middle of a modern city. Christmas markets galore and everything close and it only takes a few minutes every where. Restaurants all booked out at 7pm sitting and very crowded. Street food is good but cold and crowded to eat on the go. Hot drinks everywhere including chocolate.

The most picturesque district, located in the heart of the city and characterized by typical Alsatian half-timbered houses and suggestive canals. A magical place. ❤ Those who are interested can watch the passage of ships between different levels of canals.

We visited this place during our trip to strasburg. It was fantastic with all the graphic scenery and the architecture of the location. It's also a place that you can find a lot of restaurants, bars and stores for souvenirs. It is near the Center of the city and in my opinion it is a must place to visit.

This district in Strasbourg, which has quite an interesting history going back to the 18th century and before, is a serene area with cobblestone roads, the river splitting up into different channels with beautiful 16th century old buildings alongside the river. The area is so vibrant with lots of restaurants, shops and activity. You can easily walk to this place from the Cathedrale Norte Dame de Strasbourg or Gare de Strasbourg (train station). It’s definitely worth walking this entire area, sit by one of restaurants or coffee shops and relax, taking in the views.

La Petite France can be accessed easily on foot and via the La Petite France train which departs from the cathedral and provides audio guides in multiple languages.

The area of La Petite France is quite small so you can certainly complete the walk comfortably in a short time.

There are plenty of bridges and lots of beautiful homes and houses to view.

It is also easy to ride a bicycle around La Petite France streets as the area is reasonably flat. Watch out for the occasional car and of course pedestrians.
