Lovely place for a walk, ride, picnic or even just enjoying the little history inside the Castle. There is a park outside (left side looking to the Castles entrance) with a small playground for kids.

A very idyllic place I would recommend to visit anytime.
It's very dog friendly and provides plenty of benches, trashcans and plastic bags for picking up your dogs deed. Please also keep your dog on a leesh even if it is fully trained, for the sake and safety of your and other dogs aswell.
The history of the castle is fascinating to learn about and the place should be respected but also enjoyed. :)

Lovely little stately home. Very well refurbished with good descriptions and history displays (German only). English guide leaflet available at entry. Beautiful gardens and good little cafe. Very worthwhile stop.

Very nice castel of Wedel family. Nice interiors and garden.. I recommend this place.

Beautiful (small) castle. Entry for children is free. There even was an actor inside the castle posing as a countess. Very friendly staff.

Its beautiful, kods friendly since there is a playing Park and also a Restaurant for a Quick Snack or full meal,walking around the Castle is also relaxing and full of nature and inside the is where the historischen lies, would recommend for a family weekend Picknick or with friends
