German Museum of Caricature and Drawings

Very good museum! Located quite close to the Leibniz Universität. When I visited it, it was temporary exhibition of Deix and the main exhibition on the second floor.
Price is quite reasonable : 6 euro for normal ticket, 4 euro for reduced.
The exhibition of Deix is absolutely amazing, very good painted and full of humour. It's a pity that it's only in German language, so, I couldn't understand everything.
The main exhibition is also nice
I think the main disadvantage of museum is the absence of English translation

A museum worth the visit for satirical political cartoons. Saw the children’s exhibit which had had some beautiful mixed media by Pei-Yu Chang. Recommend on days when fewer people are here because the works require getting up close.

Important museum on various monumental caricaturists and satirical artists, showcasing satirical work created in response to both contemporary and historical events.

Also shows the various different art styles curtain caricaturists engaged in outside of their popular satirical works, giving a glimpse into the multi-faceted lives of artists.

There are different floors, each with its own exhibition and theme. On the ground floor there are exhibitions dedicated varying artists, a shop and a café.
The second floor is dedicated to a theme as time passes. And the third floor shows how the museum developed and is dedicated to Wilhelm Busch, who was a famous artist and story teller from Hannover, who's name is the name of the museum as well. A great pastime for a rainy day as well as for a sunny day, since the exhibitions may be continued iin the backyard.

Quite unique museum . Worth a visit. Keep a look on different events being organized here

An interesting exhibition which collects the caricature. It makes seemingly a contrast with Japanese Manga (comics), though the collection is richer in terms of history.

This is a great exhibition. Beautiful building. Short walk through Park from the tram stop

Very fun, interesting and unique. The bar is cozy and their coffee was good too.
