Sprengel Museum

Good museum on highway number 2 in Germany. If you driving in Germany by autobahn 2 direction to the Netherlands, it is very near from the road to turn to the good museum.

We love modern art and this is one of the best modern art museums we have visited. Great location by the lake. Combine the museum with a stroll outside.

It is for free on Friday and I see it as a nice option to spend there time with your kids. Half an hour going around and exploring and after you can enjoy a piece of cake in the cafe directly inside of the museum

I love modern arts, and this one is one of my fav! Not only it is located right in front of the lake, where u can see the sunset, but also the arts inside are super nice, tickets are not expensive, definitely worth a visit! I spent 2-3 hours inside :)

I loved the unique arts installation on its front yard. Long ago as I lived in Leibnizhaus, I and my children passed by this museum every time we went to the Maschsee. I took their picture at a unique arts installation in front of the museum.

Very fine Beckman and Picasso exhibition. Pity not more Schwitters on display. Well worth a visit though.

I love that it is deceptively huge inside. Can always find a few things I really like.

Great collection of modern and contemporary art! And the price is budget. You probably need almost full day to explore all exhibits.

Excellent collection, well presented. Friendly helpful staff.
We went on a Friday, with our discount card ready, and found it was free entry on Fridays.
Had a nice lunch on the terrace with a view of the rowing lake.

World-class modern and contemporary art museum, absolutely a must if one's visiting Hannover. Wonderfully curated exhibitions of local and internationally known artists

I didn’t expect the space of the Museum , it was huge, i really recommend this place to visit when you want to do an activity in Hannover.

I recommend to all those that enjoy abstract and modern art. Sprengel museum has a great collection on site, complemented by perfectly set up exhibition floor. Ticket price is just right and free on select days.

It is always an amazing experience to view good works of arts which can never get old. Sprengel Museum does not only showcase artworks of the early 20th century but also contemporary artworks including photography, short films, videography and encourages art in all its forms and beauty. An inspiring place to visit while being in Hannover, Sprengel Museum is definitely the star attraction of Hannover.

A temple of modern and contemporary Art, which can compete with much more famous museums of that type. Nice architexture.

I visited the Sprengel museum in Dec and found the exhibits on display intriguingly interesting. In every exhibit my mind captured something that I could reflect upon. Certainly an exciting place to visit whether one has an hour or a whole day to spare.

This art gallery has an incredible collection with Picasso's Klee Bacon Dumas to name a few, housed in the most spectacular architectural gallery. A great book shop, coffee shop and kid friendly spots. Wear your walking. Fantasic views if the lake a pleasure to behold from the warmth of the gallery in a cold day.
