Many features make the kids busy here and it is a great fun even when the day is hot, as there are many shady places, kneipp and streams. The treetop walk is a wonderful addition to this forest path.

It was a really great Journey

I went to Füssen with my friends Pathy, Sicky and Zippy.

We weren’t sure what attractions we would find, at first we went for a walk to Austria, or was it Australia? Anyway that was ok... we saw a cave and then Zippy got scared by a bear and went home in tears.

Eventually we encouraged Zippy to come back out and come to Aulwaldpfad... despite not being able to pronounce it.

There was a delightful raft on the river which Pathy and Sicky took no problem. But then Zippy took it and he got his feet wet and that was sad. Undeterred however Zippy then ran over a rope bridge, went in to a ‘Dutch tunnel’ and went down a big slide.

We also discovered a really fun game called ‘gondolea’. In this game you had to wait until someone shouted the aforementioned word and run as fast as you could to something which wasn’t on the ground. The person left on the ground at the end then had to hold an L symbol on their head - both to signify that they were a loser and that they were still learning. Personally I was the worst at this game but I still had a lot of fun in the playing of it.

There is a treetop bridge that you can walk on after your tour of all the fun attractions. We however did not partake in the treetop walk because it cost money for a ticket. We reckon that you could sneak on to the bridge but we would not encourage that type of behaviour.

There are many other enjoyable amenities in the surrounding area including a waterfall, toilet, benches, an old ski jump and a really fun mini golf. We enjoyed all of these amenities during our trip to Auwaldpfad.

If you have friends like Pathy, Zippy and Sicky then I would recommend that you take the ‘jump’ and visit Auwaldpfad during the next time you are in the vicinity of the historic Bavarian town of Füssen.

Toller 1,5 km langer Spazierweg, für Kinder super geeignet. Man kann den ganzen Weg wunderbar barfuß laufen und an der Kehre eine Treppe hochlaufen auf die Brücke über dem Lechfall. Kleine Buchten/Strände locken immer wieder ans Wasser.

Wie toll - Spiel, Wasser, Matsch und dazu noch Informationen. Das ganze Gelände ist toll und liebevoll gestaltet. Der Auwaldpfad hat uns besonders gefallen. Ein besonderes Wrlebnis war die Matschstrecke.

Besonders schön für Familien, vor allem die Natur ist sehr beeindruckend. Die Kinder haben immer wieder kleine Stationen bei denen sie etwas machen können( klettern, balancieren, rutschen)

Sehr schöner Pfad an der Lech entlang. Die Kinder finden immer wieder verschiedene Spielstationen. An heißen Sommertagen zu empfehlen. Handtuch für die Füße nicht vergessen. Wer möchte kann für paar Euro auch noch über den Aufwaldpfad über eine Brücke laufen (Baumwipfelpfad). Aber der schönere Teil ist tatsächlich der Auwaldpfad selber. 100 m entfernt ist der Lechfall der einen Abstecher Wert ist.

Toll angelegt mit vielen Hinweisen und Infos zum Wald, Lech etc. Bei Hochwasser schnell aus Sicherheitsgründen gesperrt. Mehrere Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Incl mit nackten Füßen durch Schlamm oder Bach zu laufen.

Sehr schöner und schattiger Rundweg am Ufer des Lechs entlang. Unterwegs gibt es viele kindgerechte Stationen rund um die Themen "Wasser" und "Wald" zum Spielen, Ausprobieren und Entdecken, die aber auch Erwachsenen Spaß machen. Die Länge der Runde beträgt etwa 1,5km-2km.

Toll gemacht! Auf jedenfall Matschkleidung und Ersatzkleidung mitnehmen. Unsere großen Kindergartenkinder standen teils knietief im Wasser.
Extratipp: Vor 9 Uhr da sein.

Auf jeden Fall eine Begehung wert. Absolut zu Empfehlen mit Kindern auch Kinderwagen tauglich. Kostenlos, Parkplätze im Umkreis. Es gibt viele "Attraktionen" welche gut gemacht sind und Groß und Klein ein Lächeln auf die Lippen zaubern. Dazu gibt es noch einiges zu lernen. Einfach Toll!

Toller und abwechslungsreicher Weg für groß und klein. Toller Zugang zur Lech. Tolle Stationen. Es wird nicht langweilig und auch kleine Kinder können den Weg gut zu Fuß laufen. Unser 3 jähriger hat den Weg ohne Support geschafft. Sein Highlight war der Staudamm, das Bachwasser, die Rutsche und die 115m lange Balancierstange! Lohnt sich als Halbtagesausflug!
