Hotel Sommer

Lovely stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the lake. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very good leisure facilities (and washing/drying machines for those who need them). Food was plentiful, interesting, varied and well prepared.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family including 2 kids.
We had a family room which was ideal for us, the main room was quite large with a small lounge area and balcony. There was also a separate small bedroom with large bunkbeds for the kids.
We used the outdoor pool twice during our stay, a great facility to relax and view the mountains after a long day. We were also able to grab drinks from the small "honesty bar" in the spa area.
Food was excellent. We were on a Half Board option. Breakfast was varied and plentiful (my daughter enjoyed the rhubarb juice which we found quite unique and also the selection of pastries, breads and preserves). The dinner choices were also good - they have a buffet area for starters/salads which was excellent. We tried the tomahawk steak one evening and it was well worth the 50 euro supplement.
Finally, the bar area was nice and the staff helpful. They had a great selection of gins (a nice change from the beer) and even had some local Algau gins.
Great base for exploring the area and staying locally meant we were able to get up to the Neuschwanstein castle early before it got too busy.

Very good hotel can recommend to anybody who is thinking of staying in
Füssen. Very friendly hotel staff and especially the manger who is always available and was very friendly and also extremely helpful. Excellent Food and a choice of many Germany or continental food. Also a choice of fish every day and of course vegetarian meals too. The room was immaculate clean on a daily basis and true to the photographs, the same for Spa and swimming pool.Also the best nights sleep we have had in a long time, you could hear a pin drop so quite.
We will be booking or next holiday there very soon,

Such a relaxing environment with the most incredible scenery. The indoor/outdoor pool and spa facilities are excellent and the food (buffet dinner) was delicious. The price of the drinks in the bar was very reasonable (under €4 for a large beer) and the service was excellent. Strongly recommend staying here for a few days as there is lots to do and one night just isn't long enough!

We love this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the food is tasty And of very good quality and the swimming pools and different saunas are great. Wellness in every sense of the word.

Lovely and relaxing atmosphere, friendly personnel, delicious meals and spacious wellness area with a good selection of different saunas all set in a beautiful between lakes and mountains.

Super attentive staff, very comfortable beds, lovely location and very nice hotel. Everything perfect!

Wir waren das dritte mal im Hotel Sommer und wurden wieder nicht enttäuscht. Sehr schönes Hotel mit exzellenter Gastronomie, tollen Zimmer und vor allem einem superfreundlichen Personal. Davon lebt das Hotel! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.
Der Ausblick ist traumhaft schön, Neuschwanstein gefühlt direkt davor. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, auch nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Füssen entfernt.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, bis dahin.

Mooi en prettig hotel om een tijd te verblijven. Afgezien van het dat ene minpunt dat we niet bij inchecken de goede kamer kregen maar snel werd opgelost, uitstekend! Auto in de tiefgarage. Prachtige omgeving aan het meer,waaruit je een rondvaart kan doen. Binnen aantal minuten in Fussen zelf, ook de moeite waard.Kamers ruim,goede bedden en ontbijt en diner voortreffelijk. Personeel ook super aardig. Binnen een steenworp van Oostenrijk en het prachtige slot neuschwanstein. Het kost wat,maar is het absoluut waard.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Hotel Sommer und sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, es herrscht eine schon fast familiäre Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Extrawünsche wurden prompt erfüllt. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Als störend empfanden wir, das direkt am Hoteleingang geraucht werden darf . Man wir direkt mit Zigaretten-Mief empfangen bzw. zieht der Gestank in das Zimmer darüber. Das gleiche gilt auch für die Balkone weil auch Aschenbecher auf den Tischen standen. Da nützt dann auch kein Nichtraucherzimmer .

Ich wurde noch nie in einem Hotel so herzlich empfangen wie hier! Auch kurzfristiges umbuchen von 2 Doppelzimmern auf eine Familiensuite wurde sehr unkompliziert durchgeführt. Klar mussten wir dann ein paar Minuten in der Lobby bzw. Im Wein Saal warten, wurden aber mit einem Glas Sekt für unsere Geduld belohnt. Das Hotel war nicht überfüllt, man konnte alle Pools und Saunen ohne Einschränkungen nutzen. Im Spa Bereich wurde zudem noch Obst, Wasser usw zur Verfügung gestellt. Für den Folgetag konnten wir vier auch noch unsere Wunsch Massagen vor Ort buchen.
Am Abend durften wir das einzigartige 5 Gänge Menü verspeisen. Auch hier wurden wir vom super Service überrascht. Meine Schwester hatte Geburtstag, der Tisch war sehr ansprechend gedeckt, auch bei der Auswahl der Salate, blieb kein Wunsch offen! Bei der Hauptspeise, konnte man aus insgesamt fünf Gerichten wählen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Und vorallem haben alle Gerichte außergewöhnlich gut geschmeckt. Auch die Nachspeise war ein Traum!
Wir vier haben unseren Aufenthalt mehr als genossen und sehr gut geschlafen!
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war ein Traum, konnte mich kaum entscheiden.
Für mich persönlich war es einer der schönsten Aufenthalte überhaupt. Vom Service, Freundlichkeit und der Mahlzeiten ein absolut gelungenes Wochenende! Jeden Euro wert!
