Absolute best place to come when hungry after a good day out in the area. Reservations are a must as even at 5:30 the place soon filled up. The hof beer is good, the food is hearty and well made (the kaiserschmarrn is a must), there's a kids menu and the service was very pleasant from all the staff. They take cash or card. I can only imagine this restaurant would be even more perfect in winter!

It’s been said before and I’ll say it forever… their Kaiserschmarrn is incredible!! The other plates we had were also very good and the restaurant setting was cozy and everyone was kind. All in all a wonderful experience.

we've been talking about the kaiserschmarrn here ever since we left (two weeks ago). overall great dinner and gave us the traditional german cuisine experience we were looking for. staff was very kind and helpful!

I lived in Pfronten for 8 months and unfortunately didn't discover Schankwirtschaft until about 6 months into my stay there. I LOVE this restaurant. Wonderfully authentic cellar-like dining room, staff is friendly, and the house-brewed beer is DELICIOUS. My favorite dish was the Erdapfelsuppe, which is basically a potato soup with bits of deer meat. Yum! You can't go wrong.

This Restaurant was recommended by the hotel we where staying at. It is a great recommendation. Not so much space inside so a reservation is advised.

Lovely place, exelent food, one of the best beers i have tested - localy brewed, friendly and helpful staff. I have left the place with all positive experience.

Probably one of the best meals I've ever had, the pumpkin soup and venison were incredible, service was excellent and beer the same!
