Excellent hotel! Quite near the lake (you can walk there, but we took our car, it’s a 5 minutes ride) and with a beautiful view of the forest and mountains from our room, the swimming pool area and the dining terrace, it’s indeed gorgeous. The hotel’s decoration is also wonderful.
Our room was spacious (the bathroom a little tighter but we had all we needed) and the balcony was also very nice. The pillows we had the first nights were rather slim and soft, but when we asked for firmer pillows, they provided us with two more different ones so that we could choose the best. There’s no AC in the rooms (we weren’t surprised as this is quite normal in many German and Swiss hotels, for environmental reasons), but they provided a fan (it was already inside the wardrobe) that soothed our nights.
The restaurant was also top notch. The food was amazing, and abundant! There was breakfast, a light lunch (salads, etc), cakes in the afternoon and a gourmet dinner included every day. We loved everything we tried. The staff was also very welcoming and professional. Only 2 suggestions: the dining room was rather hot, so maybe the AC there could be stronger or have some fans as well, and the menus could all have en English translation (we were provided with one, but since there are no fix tables, the staff couldn’t really predict where we would be sitting, so most of the times we had to use Google Translate if our menu was only in German).
The swimming pool was also enjoyable as it was very hot during our stay in August and we wanted to relax between day trips.
Overall, excellent hotel and we would gladly come back!

Perfect service, very good and clean wellness area. The rooms are wonderful and have a nice view onto the Watzmann, however the carpet could be exchanged for wooden floor. The restaurant is amazing. Starting your hikes from here is easy as there are some trails around. A walk to the Königssee takes about 40 min, depending on speed and how often you stop for the nice views.

The most luxurious hotel we experienced in Bavaria. The staff is wonderful and our room was large, nicely appointed, and had a stunning alpine view (as well as pool/spa views). The breakfasts and dinners were amazing, and the afternoon cake buffet took it over the top. A very good choice if you're looking for a luxury hotel in the area!

Best rates in town and also the best hotel in town. Everyone on the staff was incredibly nice and always very helpful. The food was delicious and the amenities were beautiful. Definitely going back!

We had a super relaxed stay in the hotel after a two day hike in the Steinernes Meer, wellness area and the food are also really nice!

Ein wunderbares Hotel in toller Lage. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Hier kann man sich sehr gut erholen!
Hervorragendes Essen runden den Aufenthalt ab! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ein Hotel, wo einfach alles passt! Der Service ist einmalig, das Team vermittelt den Eindruck, dort gern zu arbeiten. Wir haben 5 Tage dort verbracht und haben uns stets wohlgefühlt. Alles sehr sauber, die Speisen sind erstklassig, mit der Verwöhnpension fehlt es einem an nichts! Sehr ruhiges, erholsames Ambiente, tolle Umgebung! Die Betten waren für unsere Verhältnisse zu hart, aber das ist für jeden anders zu betrachten...Alles in allem waren wir nach unserem Aufenthalt super erholt und kommen gerne wieder! Absolut empfehlenswert!Ein Lob an dieses Hotel!!!

Alles top. Sehr tolles, großes und vor Allem sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Bergblick-Balkon.
Toller, sauberer und gut ausgestatteter Wellness Bereich. Frühstück mit Allem was das Herz begehrt.
Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Die Matratze im Bett war mir zu hart. Ich habe nicht danach gefragt, kann daher nicht sagen, ob es die Möglichkeit gibt, auf Anfrage eine weiche Matratze zu bekommen.

Wir waren ein Wochenende dort mit bestem Wetter. Es hat alles super gepasst. Super Ausblick und Lage, super nette Angestellte, super Wellness Bereich, super Essen.
Wir sind vormittags immer Wandern gegangen und ab 3 Uhr Kaffee und Kuchen sowie den Wellnessbereich im Hotel genossen. Den Tag haben wir dann mit dem 5-Gänge-Menü auf der Terrasse bei bestem Ausblick ausklingen lassen.

Wir waren für 3 Übernachtungen im Hotel und es war einfach super.

Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und sehr bemüht.

Das Hotel an sich, der Spa-Bereich, die Aussenanlage sowie die Pools sind sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Die Massagen waren sehr entspannend.

Das Essen war immer ausreichend und üppig, die Qualität einwandfrei und es war einfach guad.

Die Lage ist ideal ruhig am Hang gelegen, eine schöne Aussicht auf die Berge und man ist in unter 10min mit dem Auto am Königsee.

Wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter und kommen definitiv wieder.
