L'Osteria Salzburg

Super good quality food. Pasta was DELICIOUS. Pizza is huge, it would be good enough for 4 people. Thou my friend ate it all herself. Can't recommend it enough. Excellent price. The chocolate desert was the only let down and it had no chocolate oozing from it. But the service, food and price gets 5 stars

Fantastic place! In the very heart of Salzburg, overlooking the famous street where fountain water flows down and kids are chasing colourful balls. Food is fantastic - we tried pizzas and pasta and everything was 10 out of 10. Interior is very stylish, with deep red/bordo accents. Service is fast and smooth.

We know the restaurant chain, so we played it safe when visiting Salzburg. Italian food is excellent. The restaurant is in the city center, it is a large space, so we had a place even without a reservation. The service is friendly.

It was the first pizza restaurant I visited in Austria. The food was really delicious and it looks like family customers often come to eat in evening. Because there is a place where local children play in the water on the street right in front of the restaurant.

Four adults had a meal, and I was going to order 1 pizza per person, but the employee said that 3 pizzas were enough. And she was right.

Also It was a crowded evening, so she looked very busy taking orders and working as a casher. Nevertheless, she returned to all tables and provided quality service.
(And she has the ability to read peoples’ needs. She will immediately notice what you need, just by looking into your eyes.)

And additionally, I ate tiramisu, and it disappeared the moment I put it in my mouth.😂

I was thrilled to find this place open and with a table available after walking around the city for hours not being able to find anywhere either open or with space.

I had vegetable pasta (sorry I can’t remember the name of it) and a mocktail and both were delicious.

The service was great - probably the friendliest service I had in Austria.

I saw a lot of other people eating pizza and I kind of wished I’d ordered one because they looked AMAZING.

The lasagna here is a must-try! Perfectly layered with rich sauce, tender pasta, and a generous amount of cheese. Each bite was deliciously satisfying, and the portion size was just right. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Authentic Italian dining In the heart of downtown salzberg. On the opposite side of the river as the castle but a great location that is popular so reservations recommended. Food is delicious, flavorful, fast and friendly service. Full cocktail and wine menu so grab a negroni and then stroll the beautiful side streets of salzberg. There are also locations of this restaurant found in Munich also.

The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Shout out to our wonderful server with the glasses, he was funny and attentive! Spaghetti carbonara was one of the best! Thank you!

Our second time there. Good and tasty food 5/5 but customer service needs huge enhancements 1/5. We were setting in a table where sun was really hurting us. We fixed the umbrella to protect 5 persons from direct sun. Few minutes later a waiter came to change it without any respect to us. When asked clarifications he said it is Manager’s order. We asked the Manager and said it is like that and no way customer could change it. Only option is to change the table!!

We booked on line to ensure a seat for me & my husband. We are visiting Salzburg for the weekend.

It was extremely busy however our server was amazing. The pizza was delicious, they are huge however the base is thin & crispy & not too much cheese on it. I had bruschetta to start with & I was a little disappointed as the baguette was not toasted & the tomato topping was sparse. Would I go again… definitely…. We are going tonight to try a pasta dish - the price was competitive … £65 euros for 4 drinks ( alcoholic) 2 starters & 2 huge pizzas! Definitely worth a visit however book a table as the queue was outside the door at 7.30pm!

Chilled at this restaurant with my family when it started to rain in the evening. Had some great pizzas, pasta and desserts for dinner as well. Nice ambience and service!

I think i can say it was my first decent meal in Europe😆. I love the food, we ordered several kinds to try out. I think we ate all of it! We had a good time eating and relaxing after travelling from a different country. 👌

Found this place after searching for recommended Italian restaurants in the area. We were 8 people, 5 of them are children. The staff welcomed us very kindly, the food was delicious, came in large dishes and the service was great! Also, the restaurant is located near the city center, shops and attractions.

Great value and location. Lots of seating outside. Friendly staff. My family and I ate here 3 times when we were in Salzburg. Pasta and pizza portions are big so great for family style sharing so that everyone can try everything. The food is tasty enough, but I think most come here for the value. Super kids friendly too as the outdoor seating is along a sloped street with a top to bottom water feature where kids often float boats or balls down it. Tips: 1) can ask to have pizza split on two plates without a fee, 2) every pasta they can do a small portion for a few euros cheaper that is more than enough for a 9-11yr old.

Accidentally we found that place and of course you ll find Greek people there.

Great food and drinks from a varied menu. The pasta dishes and pizza had by our group were excellent. Alessandro was very helpful, efficient and professional. He made our last night in Salzburg memorable. I highly recommend L'Osteria Salzburg.

The pizzas were enormous, not all that genius on toppings but it was more like an authentic pizza and they were tasty. The pastas were also quite generous and are really to share so don't over order.
