Restaurant Akropolis

One of the most delicious food I’ve had. These are what we ordered in two days. I forgot to take a photo of starters. But we ordered the mixed plate of warm and cold starters. We wanted to try this place and the next day we couldn’t help it! We went back there again. The price is reasonable comparing to the quality of the food.

We had a late dinner here. A very tasty food, quick service and since we went late, a very few patrons making it a quiet place for us.
We had ordered from grilled menu and it was very well cooked and very tasty. I would definitely recommend it 😄

I in General Love greek food but this place was awesome, quite good portions, delicious, you really feel like you pay less than it’s all worth it, also they gift is welcome drinks (Greek traditional shots).
Thanks for service and food.

The building looks quite boring outside (nothing that could be associated with the promising name: "Akropolis") but the popularity and the warm atmosphere of the place can be seen from the street and the welcoming smiles. The kitchen and the service are EXCEPTIONALLY EFFICIENT - dining room is full of people but not a minute of waiting. The whole team works for every customer. (12 points to the manager!)
I usually like Mediterranean but today, being in Austria, I selected only pork with creamy mushroom sauce. It came faster than I could finish the small salad (from the house). Really creamy and tasty. Mediterranean dishes look very authentic and are definitely worth trying next time.

This restaurant is worth five stars. The food is good, and the staff is so friendly. They always smiled at our kid ☺ Undoubtedly family-friendly. Akropolis offers a good menu at reasonable prices. Recommended

First of all, prices are modern.

We were welcomed and served beautifully. Our waiter spoke fluent English and they have a translated menu as well.

I was kind of worried of how big the menu is, wondering how they can serve so many dishes and keep it tasty.
I ordered the grilled chicken (no. 66) and it was great!
It was still juicy and the potato chips were wonderful (with the seasoned butter) - picture included.

Only bad thing I can say is that the yogurt dessert had too much honey and therefore too sweet to my taste.

Would definitely come again, I had a great time.

the food, waitress, drink, interior, cleaness were very nice. i want to have food there if i have a chance to visit salzburg again. :-)

Great authentic food and service. Best Greek food we've had since leaving Greece. A large menu offering with excellent flavours. A must to visit in Salzburg.

Would have given 20 stars. Highly recommended restaurant. Have been eating here almost daily due to my work location. Friendly waiters. Taste great and very clean. And best price in town.

For that price - oh my God. We were so full, we could not move ourselfs out of the table! Great taste, everyone were very satisfied :)

Excellent food, amazing service, great prices.

I went here for a quick lunch with 8 friends. We were unannounced and they easily fitted us in. The waiter was friendly and efficient and our food from the lunchtime special menu arrived promptly. The quality was decent and quite acceptable, especially in light of the fact that the choice of restaurant was totally random and we didn't know what to expect.
The atmosphere was modern and less traditional, which I personally don't enjoy as much as the other way around.
I'd definitely go there again should I have the opportunity.

Authentic Greek food,loved it!!!

I can just recommend this restaurant.
They have a truly wide range of food to choose from. Perfect for those meat lovers, fish lovers and vegetarians as well. You’ll always find something that you like.
The portions are always really generous. You’ll always walk out with a full belly.
All the food is really well spiced and tasty. Perfect point for meat as well as fish. Really authentic Greek food.
The price is also in concordance with what you get.

Good food and fast service.

The entrée portions are big enough for three and delicious. The calimari was tasty but a tiny portion. The drinks are small.

When we moved to Salzburg, this was one of the first restaurants we visited. Over 11 years later we still enjoy the authentic and tasty Greek food every time we're back in the city. :)
