Holiday Inn - the niu, Hop Forchheim, an IHG Hotel

This is the perfect hotel! It's near the city center, it's clean, it's cheap, the room is very big, there is a free car park, it's quite, the beds are really comfortable. In other words, it's just perfect.

Onder excels at his position at front desk. Onder was in complete control of his duties responsibilities and was kind, compassionate and empathetic to me when my wallet was stolen.

We all live and learn from each experience in this life and we roll with it and move forward. He calmed me be his kindness and doing everything humanly possible to aide me. Thank you Onder.

I am a American female tourist traveling internationally for the FIRST TIME, solo.

I felt safe, secure and cared for by the staff and central location in the city of the hotel. You can easily walk to the bus or train stations, local shops and historical points of interest. Bring your cameras.

The NUI HOTEL is all about saving resources and acting sustainably. After entering the room you place you key card in a pocket above the hall light switch , which turns on all electronics. When leaving remove it, everything is off! Brilliant. My home state of Florida could benefit by following your example.

Good service when we checked in. The hotel and room were clean and very nice. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom.

Only thing we had to go and ask for a second towel (which was no problem!), but other than that a fantastic stay!

Comfortable, quiet, new and clean rooms with comfy bed and pillows, very clean bathroom. Minor downside: No water kettle in the room. Positive surprise: Games in the room and free table tennis in the lounge. Varied breakfast with fresh bread, croissants, fruit and with excellent leaf tea with fresh lemon, mint, ginger! Parking on site for a surcharge. We didn’t visit Forcheim but the hotel is a good stopover to visit Bamberg

Hotel in einer perfekten Lage, wenn man nach Erlangen muss. Ich will besonders die Teeauswahl beim Frühstück hervorheben. Ich habe selten solch eine gute reiche Auswahl an Teesorten in einem Frühstücksbüffet erlebt. Die Teetassen sind auch sehr groß, haben einen Sieb und Deckel. Also perfekt für die Teeliebhaber wie mich 🫶

Ein wirklich schönes, neues und modernes Hotel. Wir waren von den schönen, geräumige Zimmern begeistert. Das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Beim nächsten Besuch im Playmobil Funpark kommen wir gerne wieder ;)

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Lage ! Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt an der Straße, diese hat uns aber nicht gestört aufgrund schallisolierter Fenster und Klimaanlage. Die Zimmer waren sauber , sehr stylisch und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Würde ich wieder wählen !

Sehr gut gelegen. Trotz Hauptstraße und Bahnhof direkt vor dem Hotel ist es in den Zimmern absolut leise. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist sehr modern und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgesucht. Als ehemalige Forchheimerin geht einem dort das Herz auf. Absolute Empfehlung!

Perfekte Lage

Dieser Zwischenstopp auf der Kirchentag-Radpilgerfahrt 2024 von Nürnberg nach Erfurt war ein Glücksgriff für uns 18 Radler: Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, Fahrräder sicher und trocken abgestellt, nur wenige Schritte zur schönen Altstadt von Forchheim, in ruhigen, komfortablen Zimmern gut geschlafen - Wir waren äußerst zufrieden.

Super zentral und doch ruhig gelegen! Direkt am Bahnhof, wenige Meter vom Zentrum. Neu, sauber, tolles Design und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Rundum zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist modern und schön ausgestattet. Das Personal ist echt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gegend lädt zum Erkunden ein.

In 5 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Tolle Zimmer und sehr freundlicher Service. Buffet zum Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich.

Die Zimmer sind wirklich geschmackvoll eingerichtet und waren sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, hier sollte jeder was finden. Lediglich der Frühstücksbereich fällt nach unserer Meinung etwas zu klein aus. Dieser könnte etwas größer sein, um Stoßzeiten besser aufzufangen.
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof, von dem Zugverkehr haben wir jedoch nichts mitbekommen. Die Lage ist recht zentral, man ist zu Fuß in ca. 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt und in ca. 25 Minuten im Kellerwald. Eine Zugfahrt nach Bamberg dauert je nach Verbindung 15 - 20 Minuten.

Was uns negativ aufgefallen war, ist das Personal am Empfang. Dieses empfanden wir als eher wortkarg und mürrisch.
