Bauer Hotel & Restaurant

This is a top notch operation. Everything about it was excellent. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is very good. The service is spot on. The room could only have been improved with air conditioning.

The hotel is well situated for our business trips to Munich and has a very special typical German character. The food is excellent, and the service is very good, and all the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. A very homely environment.

I would recommend a small gymnasium. I know you have a pool but I looked in your guide and there was no mention of a gymnasium area.

Beautiful hotel with lots of charm. I personally love it when they use a lot of wood. The examples in this hotel are multiple. The ceiling in the dinning room is just splendid, as is the pool entrance area. I believe oak is used and the quality of the finish was done with real craftsmanship. The fireplace is perfectly heating up this charming dining room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the bar/restaurant is open late enough. Most needs are covered by default and they offer multiple services and urgency option like shaving kit etc… I booked for business but I would recommend families to take a look too.

This review is for the restaurant. Amazing food and great service. Best schweinebraten I’ve had. I also had an interesting but tasty pumpkin spätzle! Freshly made salads and you can tell the lettuce and other ingredients are good quality. Thank you!

We sleept one night here. Its an hotel with 4 stars but they can have easy 5 stars because they deserv it. Everything was perfect. The reception team is amazing. Nice and understanting and they really listen to what you want. They are all profesionals and you can see this. The rooms are big and super clean. Amazing job housekeeping team. The breakfeast was very very diverse. We are very happy that we found this hotel. Big COMPLIMENTS to the hole team. Your all 5 starts champions🏆🥇We can not wait to come back!!👍👍

I've come to this hotel 4 times already and would definitely return again! Staff is super polite, friendly and knowledgeable, the included breakfast is superb! Rooms are light and comfortable! We could even get a view of the Alps from our room! Ramona and Sonja were very helpful at all times! Will stay there for Oktoberfest or just when travelling.

Staying for work, this is a lovely family run hotel. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. Dinner is consistently delicious. Rooms are large and comfortable. Decorations are beautiful. Pool and spa areas are clean and sleek. It is a great place for weddings and group events. We highly recommend it for anyone including children and dogs!

Stayed a single night, car park above and below ground, with no issues parking. Found everyone to be friendly and polite. the room was clean and a great size, also had a balcony. Did not use the spa facilities but did enjoy the food served in the restaurant both in the evening and breakfast. Would certainly recommend this hotel

Hotel is great. Super friendly people at the reception and ready to provide help. Restaurant was also very good for dinners after long days in Messe Munich. If you participate in a trade show this hotel is very conveniently locsted and friendly. Fully recommended.

Beautiful hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff are all really helpful and friendly. Swimming pool and sauna are a great addition. Food is lovely. Had such a lovely stay that I could honestly live here! Strongly recommend.

I can only talk about the restaurant which we found to be excellent. Definitely a cut above the usual German/Bavarian fare. A bit pricier as well but we’ll worth it.

Lots of character and helpful staff, menu is interesting with a good mixture of traditional German meals if that's your thing. Plenty of vegetarian options although a little complex for vegans as most options had cheese. Dining rooms are very atmospheric especially the wood paneled room. Leisure facilities look good.

2-night booking. Spacious and quiet room. Hearty breakfast served in a nice and bright breakfast room.

Good quality hotel with great rooms and a really top restaurant in traditional Bavarian style. For a business trip it hits all the points you would need. Friendly service.

The restaurant serves a delicious mix of seafood an Asian dishes which sounds disjointed but is genuinely works if you are savvy enough to pick complementing dishes. The staff are professional and knowledgeable but have a really friendly nature. The fact that so many locals choose to dine here speaks volumes for the quality of the restaurant.

The Bauer hotel is a perfect place to stay. Close to Munich with an outstanding group of personnel and very accommodating kitchen. My daughter was married there and had guests from many countries who were nicely accomodated in areas. Can't recommend it more highly.

Hotel Bauer offers comfortable rooms. They are more spacious than the now unfortunately modern tiny boxes in the new business hotels in cities. The staff is always friendly and even caring. The breakfast buffet is good. Parking is available directly and for free at the hotel. Wifi is included.
Overall Hotel Bauer is a very good hotel just outside of Munich, close to the convention center.
