Hotel Am Moosfeld

We stayed here during Oktoberfest mainly because I saw reviews of excellent breakfast on booking.com and We were not disappointed at all. They speak many languages so we had no issues. Breakfast was a whole experience. This place is amazing. Rooms were alright but the breakfast is worth it and 100% recommend it. This hotel is also a 10 minute walk away from a train station, which was really helpful and if you arrive before checking, they will hold your luggage so you can go explore until it’s check in time. Lots of nice restaurants around the area and all walking distance. Will definitely come back!

Excellent hotel. They have a complete delicious breakfast. I really liked roses around the hotel. The staff was nice. All details were considered in the rooms, there were all necessary hygienic things.
The location is a bit far from the subway station and there are no supermarkets around, but as I noticed it's common in Munich that there are a lot of residential areas with no commerce around, so you have to walk a lot if you want to find a supermarket or a restaurant.
My whole experience in this hotel was great and positive.

Simple rooms, very friendly helpful receptionists. Outstanding breakfast with almost everything you might need.

Everything was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and silent! Staff is very polite. 10 minutes walking distance from the metro. We had to check out about 4.00 a.m. and on the reception gave as lunch packages. The restaurant was very good also!

Great hotel, impressed by the cleanness of the room, the quality of the breakfast and the kindness of the staff!
It was super convenient to stay there, not too far from Munich center, parking on the premises.
The quality/ price ration is definitely GREAT.
I would totally recommend this place!

Absolutely great.The receptionists were all very polite and were all fluent English speakers,the place of the hotel is amazing with so much green, gardens etc surrounding it and the highlight was the rooms.So spacious, everything anybody could ask for in that price range (lack of A/C not a problem for me as the weather was fine,in other cases i guess it would be valued).Congrats i was amazed by the hotel wasn't expecting it to be that good, definitely will visit again if i have the chance

Amazing hotel which has 4 starts for a good reason! Great, spacious rooms, and exceptional cleanliness. The staff are very polite and ready to accommodate various requests, also ready to go beyond the reservation specs. The location is a bit off the city centre, but there is a direct line (S4, S6) making city centre easily reachable.

Also, this is one of the cheapest 4-star hotels in Munich, considerably cheaper than many hotels with one, two or three stars.

Great Hotel which is really clean and has everything you need at a really good price! For me this Hotel is price/performance wise one of the best in Munich.

I've stayed at Am Moosfeld twice and both times it was fantastic. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a good variety of foods. The room is good sized and the bathroom is well equipped. The staff are also very nice and helpful and everything is really clean. The only issue I encountered was that WiFi was pretty unreliable and the connection drops quite a lot.

A good base for a visit to Munich without entering the city. Not too far from a metro station, easy parking and dog friendly.

AMAZING breakfast!!! Best ever, truly astonishing. Quiet, clean room, friendly staff. Interesting part of Munich I had never been to - actually nice to be a bit outside of the city center.

Hotel Am Moosfeld is an excellent value. The rooms are spacious for a European hotel largely geared toward business travel. The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of food and will satisfy most European and American appetites. There is a tasty restaurant in the basement. During nice weather, they open the terrace for dining. Cautionary note: this hotel is about €80 from the Munich airport. That's not unreasonable given the distance, but you may want to consider other methods of transportation if you are coming from the airport.

Fine hotel, staff, superb restaurant... BUT you must ask for AC (or extra pillow or mini fridge), which they will deliver to your room. Location seems distant from trains, but the U2 tube connects nicely.

I have nothing but pleasant things to say about this hotel. The staff is amazing and very pleasant to deal with. Me and my fiancé took our first trip to Europe and staying in Bavaria this was a gold mine. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is no air conditioning but if you have done you fair share of research most hotels in München do not have them either. We stayed during the Easter break and since the night were cool so was the room. We left the terrace door and window open. It was such a pleasant stay. The transportation is not far to the city center. You can always request the shuttle to the local Moosfeld station. Thank you Hotel Am Moosfeld for making our first trip to Bavaria a real pleasure! Also the breakfast and restaurant are very delicious. Can’t go wrong eating there at all! Stay here and enjoy the beautiful people of Bavaria. Auf wiedersehen, bis bald!

I like this hotel and basen/sauna and fitness facility. Its quit place where i sleep well. Its better you will have your own ETH cable and your own wifi spot. I appreciated very much hotel support when my parked car was hitted from another guest.

The staff here are very friendly, and the rooms are nicely sized and clean. Even the showers are really good. It's a bit out of the way, but there's an underground stop close by.

Perfect hotel for a one night family stay on your way to the alps. The pool is fantastic, dinner in the Stube is great and breakfast is very extensive.

We had a good time! the hotel was affordable! good breakfast buffet and parking spots for free!
