My wife and I wanted to eat something Italian and found this place. Really good food and the service, though not speedy, was very friendly.
We shared Bruschetta and pizza with two Aperol Spritz for €42.

Absolutely delicious homemade pasta in a small and cozy restaurant. If you want to come at peak time, do book a table in advance. Hosts are super kind and attentive, however be aware that it is currently self-service as the owner had an accident and cannot lift dishes etc.

A real gem of a restaurant in Rothenberg ob der Tauber. The owner is so friendly, the service is amazing, and the food is incredible. A nice respite from the local cuisine. Get the house red wine and don’t skimp on the homemade pastas. All are wonderful. You absolutely need a reservation (our hotel made one for us).

This restaurant is a must go in Rothenburg. If you like authentic Italian food, with home made pasta, this little hidden gem will lighten your day. It is tricky to get a table so I would advise to reserve 1 or 2 days in advance.

Fantastic Italian restaurant very close to square. The waiter was friendly and easy to communicate with. The pasta was homemade and tasted wonderful! Everyone at our table ordered something different and we all left satisfied. What you should know is they only take cash!!! This did catch us off guard as we didn’t see any signs. Of course, we should have asked prior to dining. Nevertheless, the food was amazing and I would certainly recommend! Also, the bathroom was clean which is a bonus!!

5 stars for sure! Best homemade Pasta, Wine from the house, Service and Dessert. Just come and try, you will not regret. Such nice people delivering an awesome food experience as you were in Italy.

Giuseppe is an excellent host.
They home made their food and it's excellent. You might not like some dish but it will certainly have an awesome quality.
I've tried pasta and pizza, went two times since the first one was very good.
It's a cozy place in a wonderful area of the city center.
It's better to reserve, but these COVID days are hurting commerce a lot and you might find a table at any time, though.
I hope I could go again in the not so far future.

Amazing place. We had the Ragout Al Forno and Pizza with pepperoni. Both very good, but the Ragout Al Forno is a MUST, absolutely delicious. All pastas are fresh home made pasta, made by the owner every morning (and the sauce is his mothers recipe). Would come again.

Devilishly tasty pasta made from fresh noodles, and tasty lemon tirimasu.

I had a baked-over ragu, which was satisfyingly meaty and not super saucy, with a very tasty, crunchy cheese coating. This was highly recommendable.

We also tried a vegitarian lasagna, which had a cheese sauce instead of a tomato-meat sauce, and was stuffed with mushrooms and asperagus. This was also very tasty, but as a non-vegetarian, I preferred the ragu.

The side salad was mainly made of fresh leaf lettuce with a few cucumbers and a slice of Tomato, but had a delicious dressing that really elevated it.

Service was super friendly and fast.

Overall, excellent Italian food that I would highly recommend.

The menu is seasonal and change often, hence every time is a new experience. We tried the Lasagne, one of the best I had so far in Germany as a whole, and ravioli asiago and radicchio, also really good. As a desert we had a tiramisu which was quite good, with a touch of amaretto liquor instead of eggs yolks for extra safety, even though I would have preferred a little more Mascarpone cream. Last but not least, the owner was super friendly. Definitely recommended!

Menu changes, only when you enter you will see a blackboard with the day's menu. Food is fantastic!

While walking the streets of Rothenburg I did not expect to find such a wonderful, Italian hidden gem! Best service we’ve had in Germany. Waitress was super friendly and helpful because unfortunately my family and I only speak English. The pasta was so fresh and flavorful, the pizza was fantastic as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Rothenburg.

The owner is the best, personable, funny and the food was delicious. I had the spaghetti ragu - a meaty red sauce. Everything was so good, and don't skip dessert! The pasta is handmade, and they have a house wine, both red and white. If you are here, you must try it.

Amazing handmade authentic pasta with a friendly boss. We tried the pomodoro and shrimp pasta with white wine sauce. Do give this a try when visiting the area!

I was extremely well received and served, from the reservation up to the dinner. The staff was super friendly, and did the most to make us comfortable.

So delicious! Definitely make a reservation if you can as it's a smaller restaurant in a very popular area. I kept it classic with the pasta pomodoro oder arrabiata, with the house red and it was AMAZING! Great hospitality, service and quality!
