Top notch spot on the rocks. Super breezy though so get ready! We were mesmerized by the seafood arroz dish. The chef and waiter Daniel were kind and made the arroz dish much to our delight spicy to our taste not once but twice. Yes, we went back for a second time! Ceviche octopus was super fresh as recommended. Good cocktail and wine options. Look for Daniel or chat to the chef. Good folks who enjoy and what they offer best. Great service and attention.

All 4 of us enjoyed our food: shrimp and rice, veggies and rice, chicken strips and fries, and burger and fries. The view from upstairs was beautiful
Can also be served downstairs.

We came here two times - for cocktails and for breakfast/lunch. The cocktails were 2 for $10, as it was during their happy hour. I got a Cuba Libre and one Michelada. The view was spectacular, the drinks were good, not too crazy about the Michelada though.
Then the next day I ordered a burritos con pollo, it was a big portion which came also with fries. The fries were cut fresh and very good , the burrito was good too . The view at noon again, was the best. It’s right on the beach and you cannot miss it

Simple, but delicious food, try fried rice with seafood! The portion was huge! The view is really nice, but could be a little bit windy, take a hoodie with you.

Outstanding experience 👏 the food was excellent, I recommend to choose the tuna with the sauce on side, the presentation is beautiful.

They make local cocktails with volcanic mint, fresh passion fruit and a local liquor called caña.

While you are eating you can see the sunset and take beautiful photos also at the stairs and in the restaurant you can see iguanas.

If you go to Isabela island, you have to go to that place.

Food was great, shrimps and fish were very tasty! Burger was also good!

I was celebrating the engagement with my fiancé and the Royal Rock team went above and beyond and decorated our table, and also made a cute chocolate art with the dessert plate.

The best Pina Colada we have ever tasted!!!
And the food is really good too.
On top of that the staff is very nice and the view especially when the sun goes down... fantastic.

Try this at least once during your stay on Isabella. The service here is fantastic, our waiter/cocktail genius was great fun. The menu isn’t huge but the main seafood dish is good to share or get the plate for one. The view of the sunset is lovely, you can watch the iguanas crawling around on the rocks or everyone playing soccer and swimming below.

Great food, great service, amazing mojito's, and Spectacular sunset views... is there anything more that you need? The food was exceptional and we even witnessed then unloading fresh fish into the restaurant. This place won't disappoint and seems to be a must do if you're on the island long enough. Not overly expensive but not cheap either. Do it as a once off dining experience.

Excellent food with a gorgeous view. The shrimp rice is the standout. Cheaper alternatives, such as the veggie rice and the shrimp with rice and lentils, are also incredible. However, be aware that large tourist groups often make big group reservations there so it can be though to get a table here. But if you can, definitely do !

Small menu with good and fresh food, including not-fried fish. Friendly service. Very few tables, consider to make a reservation. 😉

Really good food and a nice view. It took quite a while to get the food (and the drinks) but it was defenitely worth it.

The standout of this place is the view; reserve ahead of time and it's the best view as far as I'm concerned. The drinks were delicious and they had the island happy hour, and the food was med-high class for only $10-$15. Nice fancy enough place that we loved with amazing views.

Had a lovely meal here, had the tuna which was recommended to me and it was delicious. It’s a nice romantic setting.

We had lunch here as a part of our day trip to the island. The food was good. Nothing special, but good fish. However it was super windy and we all quickly got cold even though it away supper sunny that hot that day.

Excellent place on Isabella. We ate 3 times there on our 4-day stay on Isabella. Portions are not huge but prices are cheaper and food very tasty. The service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely dinner, many thanks to the chef and our amazing waiter Steven! Stunning view, surprisingly inexpensive food, great veggie option. They even prepared a special dessert on the house for my boyfriend‘s birthday ❤

Fair and reasonable prices for local area. The shrimp burrito was a perfect size and had more
Shrimp than I expected. Generous and delicious. We will return to eat here again.

This restaurant is unique for its whole experience. The food we had two of the three nights on Isabela was wonderful (get the Pescado estilo de Royal Rock), the destination is beautiful on the pier overlooking the entire Puerto Villamil waterfront, and the people are extremely kind and friendly. We would recommend to anyone going to Isabela!
