This place offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the charming Old Town. This is easily the greatest view you can get of the city. Most of old town is visible, Saint Olaf's church stands out above the rooftops and you can see even the seacoast. It's very popular, there are a lot of tourists and especially guided tours, so you might have to wait few minutes to take good photos.

Old Tallinn, upper town. There are several viewing platforms at the top and this one, in my opinion, is the most interesting and beautiful. The whole old town is at a glance. Well, I also remember that the wind blew my cap down from there....

This viewing point gives a stunning point of view of the city from above. Really nice.

Definitely the must visit places in the Tallinn. The view is incredible. The beautiful red color of all the houses. Amazing. There are three viewing points but this one is the best one.

I was a bit disappointed, I really wanted to see and have a picture with "The Times We Had" quote but unfortunately they spoiled the beauty of the location.

This is one of my favorites places in Old Tallinn town. There are two ways of entering here. You can enter here in steps. First we did worry because we came with our baby in a stroller but then when we walked towards the road to up, we eventually ended up here. If you have a difficulty take the steps then the best way to use the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and further towards more up you find this view point

One of the best places to take pictures in Tallinn and the best viewing platform!

1 | For me the best view in Tallinn, the whole Old Town is right in the palm of your hand. A visit shouldn't be missing from any itinerary, even if you only have a few hours in the city.
2 | Very nice photos from the viewpoint in the late afternoon before sunset in summer.
3 | About 5 minutes walk from this viewpoint is the similarly beautiful Patkuli viewpoint. I recommend going to it first and then to Kohtuotsa.

Best view platform of Old Town in Tallinn..

Beautiful overlook with great views of the whole of Talilnn Old Town! Highly recommend to get there early in the morning to take some memorable shots and ensure you avoid the crowds. You’ll also be able to take in the sights on the climb up without contending with other tourists! Must do at least one morning during your visit! Make sure you visit the nearby Patkuli viewing platform just up the road too!

Beautiful view and beautiful place for a great photos.

I have been there Christmas time ,weather was cold for due reason we prefer sight seeing tour with train but not worth it. if nice weather walking around by feet.

Nice view over old town, but I prefer patkuli platform because you can see so many districts all at once.

However, the night views here over old town can be quite magical.

Definitely one of the must visit places in Old Tallinn. it gives a panoramic view of the old town and the distant sea. Visit it during different times if the day to see the magic of the place.

The best viewing platform in my opinion. Its good for viewing the old towns roofs. You can also see the Maakri district and the city center from here. If you look closely you can even see Lasnamäe and Pirita.

I love to get to learn about a new city like this, it's a very accessible way up here and the view it's wirth it!
