Beautiful park in the middle of the busy city centre. A peaceful oasis. Nice greenery, interesting trees, come walk and play with kids (there's a playground). Also lovely seafood restaurant Kalambuur is situated on the sunny side of the park.

It was a great place to stroll and relax near the entrance to the old walled city of Tallinn.

The park is situated under the walls of the old town. It has benches, paths and is split into several sections, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The park is separated from the rest of the district by a hedge. The place is generally lively in summer and spring.

ℹ Deer's Park is located in front of the bastions where greenery fills the moat. Lots of trees (about 102 different species, also one of the Europe's biggest maples) because it used to be a dendarium. Deers used to live there in the 1930s, hence the name. Included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Suitable for picnics, because it's pretty quiet and green. ;) Bring your children too, there's a little playground.

Hirve park (deer's park) is a nice valley type of park. On one side there is kids playing area and a cafe/restoran and other has trees and nice picnic and on grass resting areas. Come with a blanket and lay town and enjoy a little break from the city buzz

Also known as Hirvepark. Large grassy park with seats and a children's playground. It was empty when I walked through on Wednesday afternoon.
