We did the 3D2N tour with Western Desert Tours and had a really magical experience. As 2 female travelers, they made us feel very safe and well taken care of. They were very meticulous and considerate of our every need. Khaled had a wealth of knowledge of the desert which he passionately shared with us and Ahmad was always smiley and cooked delicious meals for us. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to visit the Western Desert as it’s one of Egypt’s treasures apart from the pyramids and to go with Western Desert Tours. Thank you once again, Khaled & team :)

If you have found these guys you are in good hands. Western desert tours is best-in-class with an incredible team. If you can dream it, they can make it happen. I have been to the white desert threetimes in 2024 (it's march) and look forward to new expeditions with Khalid and crew. Everything that was announced and explained before is what we've got. This was exactly what we were waiting for. It was an amazing experience!
The driver Ahmed and our guide Alaa were great. The food was tasty and a good discovery if you haven't tried egyptian food before.
The nights are cold, so we recommend to be ready and come with warm clothes. Don't wait for huge comfort, this is adventure and it's worth it.

We did the 2-day, 1-night tour to Crystal Mountain and the only thing I would change about it is that we didn't have more time in the desert! Western Desert is a great company to tour the desert with. Our food was great, sights were beautiful, and we had a great time. They were a little difficult to contact originally - no one answered the web form or emails when we reached out to book - but we were able to communicate best by Whatsapp.

We had an amazing 1 night desert tour and loved every moment.
Our guide Mohammed knows every corner of the desert and took us to the most amazing places. He ensured to cook our meals to support our vegetarian diet and the food was delicious.
Loli who is your booking contact was great as well and always quick to reply and patient with all our questions. We felt very welcomed at his house and were able to store our luggage while we were in the desert.

I went on a five day four night trip with the folks at Western Desert Tour. My family and I were picked up in Luxor and we headed north to Dakhla Oasis before spending a few days out in the Agabat Valley, White Desert, and Black Desert. The two days we spent in the White Desert with our very knowledgeable and experienced guide and drivers were the absolute highlight of our entire trip in Egypt. Contrary to popular belief, the Western Desert is very safe and perfect for travellers.

The pace was just right and relaxing. Our guide, Mahmoud (?), and drivers (Rahman and I forget the other driver’s name), were very knowledgeable, fun to talk to and hang out with. They were always able to pick out the perfect campsite with great sunrise and sunset views. There were always options for each of us on the trip. I am an avid hiker and photographer; they gave me suggestions on where to hike around our campsite while my folks were able to chill out and just relax in the desert. The meals provided were varied and freshly prepared on the spot. The guys also involved my sister in the meal prep when they noticed that she took more of an interest in that than the desert really. Sleeping out under the stars by the fire is also an option for those so inclined. I highly recommend it. The stargazing in the desert is unparalleled. If you like sand boarding, that is possible as well. Adrenaline junkies can also get their fix from
the 4x4s traversing the lines of sand dunes and rough terrain. That being said, if you are set on hiking all day and already know the formations you want to visit, it is probably best to communicate that with Khalid, the owner, up front to set expectations.

The drive between Dakhla Oasis and Luxor is pretty long. I recommend starting as early as possible. It is worth paying extra to stay at El Tarfa near El-Qasr. It is a really tastefully designed desert lodge away from the main road. The medieval Islamic trading outpost of El Qasr should not be missed.

Once we got to Bahariya, we went around the villages, took in the sights, hiked up the viewpoints, and meandered through endless miles of date plantations. We ate dates freshly plucked from the trees and took tea in a plantation. It was a very relaxing end to our trip.

On our last day, one of our drivers from the days in the desert came back to our hotel to ensure that our transfer to Cairo went ahead smoothly.

Communication and payment with the owner, Khalid, was very clear, easy, and fuss-free. We paid in USD and in cash once we got to Bahariya.

All in all, the folks at Western Desert Tour were an absolute delight. We all had the time of our lives and we will recommend Western Desert Tours to anyone in a heartbeat.

The best experience with Khaled, Guenesi & Ahmoud! We did a 1-day trip and we wish we had done at least a 3-night stay with Guenesi (tour guide) & Ahmoud (driver). After driving 4H from Cairo, we got to Khaled’s place and my girlfriend and I felt at home from the get go. The food was amazing (breakfast, lunches & dinner) throughout the trip, the camp was well prepared, well designed and very clean. Guenesi & Ahmoud are super careful and thoughtful as they will adapt to your needs and interests. We even had the chance to live a local egyptian-arabic « party » in the desert with another group of 2 people. Percussions (djambe + tambourine) played and sang by Guenesi, Ahmoud and the 2 other guides. Again, this is up to you - you can enjoy the view, the stars and the peaceful scene or you can jam all night! Tremendous experience and highly recommended. Western desert tour е изключително професионална компания за пустинни обиколки. Имахме невероятно пътуване с тях през декември. Нашата малка група от трима души избрахме техния 2-дневен преход в Бялата пустиня, Кристалната планина, Черната пустиня и Агабат валей. Всичко беше организирано перфектно до най-малкия детайл. Пътуването от хотела ни в Гиза до изходната точка беще комфортно и приятно. В бедуинското село ни очакваха с вкусна храна и приятелско посрещане. Пътуването продължи с високопроходим джип, а по време на пътуването видяхме спиращи дъха  природни красоти. А вечерята, приготвена на огън под безкрайното звездно небе, ще помним цял живот. Нощувката в пустинята беше много комфортна и приятна. Тук пихме и най-вкусния бедуински чай. Кhаled и неговия екип положиха максимални усилия да видим много за  времето, което имахме. Говорят отличен английски. Никой не трябва да пропуска пустинна обиколка по време на посещението си в Египет. Нямаме търпение да направим и някои от по-дългите им турове.

Des moments inoubliables, ce fut LE temps fort de notre séjour en Égypte. Nous avons passé 3j et 2 nuits dans le désert blanc avec l’équipe de Loly, tout était très bien organisé. Les paysages étaient splendides, nous n’avons croisé personne pendant 30h, une sensation indescriptible de vivre une expérience hors du commun, de pouvoir profiter de ces lieux magnifiques seul et de prendre le temps. Pour couronner le tout nos guides Folly et Midou étaient sympathiques, discret et très bon cuisiniers :-)!!! On recommande et si c’était à refaire nous repartirions avec la même équipe! Merci encore pour tout.

Une expérience incroyable. Loly a su organiser un road trip de 2 jours et une nuit avec campement dans le désert blanc. Tout a été parfait, du chauffeur depuis le Caire, au déjeuner à Bahariya, puis l'expédition dans des paysages magnifiques, seuls avec nos 2 hôtes bédouins.

Nous nous sommes toujours sentis parfaitement en sécurité, les trajets se sont déroulés paisiblement et les sorties dans le désert (attention, très très chaud en août) étaient superbes.

Le campement pour la nuit était confortable et nous avons été servis d'un délicieux repas bédouin cuit au feu de bois.

Nous remercions Loly et son équipe pour le merveilleux moment passé en leur compagnie.

Parfait ! Tout est hyper bien organisé ! Lolly est très gentil, souriant et on sent qu'il prend beaucoup de plaisir !
Vraiment nous recommandons à 200%. Une belle expérience grâce à lui et à son équipe. Nous avons adorés et nos deux jours passés avec lui nous font encore rêver 😊.

Loly a su nous organiser un voyage mémorable.
Nos 2 chauffeurs / guidés étaient sympathiques , très bons cuisiniers et pilotes hors pairs (piloter dans les dunes et changer une roue crevée pas de problèmes pour eux )
Nous avions un campement monté pour chaque nuit avec le ciel étoilé en guise de toit (nous n’avons pas jugé utile de monter la tente proposée )
Les décors sont époustouflants et resterons dans notre mémoire!

Bonjour à toutes, j'aimerais partager avec vous une expérience incroyable. Je suis allée en Egypte et j'ai passé 2 nuits / 3 jours dans le désert via Egypt Western Desert Tours. C'est une agence que nous avions trouvé via un autre voyageur sur instagram et nous n'avons pas été déçus. En effet, c'était incroyable! Une voiture conduite par Mohammed est venu à notre hôtel pour nous emmener à l'oasis de Bahariya. Le trajet a duré 5h puis nous avons déjeuné chez Loly (le responsable du tour) avant de partir en pickup avec notre guide Fully <3
Je ne saurais décrire cette expérience car il n'y a pas de mots, nous avons vraiment partagé des moments de simplicité mais de qualité avec notre guide. Nous avons ri à en pleurer, on a préparé à manger ensemble, monter le camp, fait du sand board et surtout de longues discussions près du feu sous les étoiles!
Je vous souhaite à tous de vivre cette expérience et vous recommande grandement Fully qui est le meilleur guide possible!
De plus, j'avais oublié mes lunettes de soleil dans la voiture, Mohammed le driver s'est plié en 4 pour me les ramener à mon hôtel alors que je l'ai dit l'oasis de Bahariya et Le Caire se trouvent à 5h de route... Il s'est également retrouvé dans des embouteillages monstres pendant qu'on dormait en gardant toujours le sourire!

Los mejores. Muy profesionales. Una de las mejores experiencias que puedes tener en Egipto es el Desierto Blanco y si te lo organiza Western Desert vas a llegar a sitios donde otras empresas no te llevan. La organización fue fantástica, buena comida, equipamiento, coches al mejor precio. Totalmente recomendable

3 jours dans le désert blanc et noir en famille avec le guide Loly juste au top!!! Je recommande, nous sommes revenus avec des étoiles pleins les yeux! Merci 🙏
