Truly a wonderful experience while visiting Gaztelugatxe before or after the walk...

Authentic Basque food with excellent service and great ambiance. The restaurant has a distinct mountain/traditional look to it, and it feels really cozy. The wine list is not bad but could be better.

Recommendations: Salted vegetables with Iberico crisp, Merluza en salsa verde.

After a long walk, this place is a must! The view is to die for. With some beer or coffee you won’t regret it, even at 10am

The starters are very good, the main dishes are fish and meat and they are spectaculars. And the deserts are very special and delicious. You can also eat a great variety of pinchos and order squids or eat roasted chicken with chips in an environment more casual.
They have plenty of car parking and disabled accessibility.
The staff is very kind and they will make you enjoy the visit.

Nice people! Food is good enough for the place and when you come back and hungry! Drinks a cold! And good vermouth ! Enjoy the view

Fantastic food. High end cuisine in a Basque traditional building.
The waitress were traditional Basque outfits.
Highly recommended the lobster "bombones".
After lunch, walk towards the side of the restaurant 10min to see the famous church of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe from a viewpoint.

A quick bus and taxibus ride fron Bilbao, part of the Game of Thrones was filmed here. The restaurant was a warm and friendly repreive from the not too great weather in early March. Food and coffee were both excellent and reasonably priced. If you are a GOT fan this is a must on any trip to the Northern coast.

Beautiful location with good parking and stunning views. Excellent menu’s, yes there are 2.. Restaurant & Beer House. If you are eating from the Beer House, there ISN’T any table service Don’t wait to be served you have to go up to the hut to place your order for both food & drinks at the separate counters.... then collect when ready.

Not a bad place to have a meal. The price was more reasonable than what I expected given the location. When I went it was quite late and it was only self service, don't know if that is the norm.

Nice restaurant with a spectacular view of Gaztelugatxe. I would recommend to try the pintxos (small snacks); they are cheap, tasty and very basque:)

Great place to eat pintxos ir to drink before Gaztelugatxe. Nice food and nice service.

So good! They have pinchos at the bar. The restaurant has table service with amazing seafood. We tried a white fish which was salty and delicious. The lobster salad and shrimp appetizers were good as well. The restaurant has old world charm with stone and exposed beams. Overall great experience!

Nice place for a quick meal while visiting Gaztelugatxe. For some reason, the waiters were all young men. Very helpful when I asked for directions to Bermeo for lunch.

Decently priced and good food and coffee.

Great place to eat.. chicken outside or fine dining in the restaurant... amazing views... only drawback is you now have to book the walking route to the Chapel. So plan ahead to max your day.

We went to a wedding here and the space is very very nice. Big windows, amazing views over San Juan de gaztelugatxe and the sea. The food and drinks were world class . The service great . What else can you ask for ? Good weather ? You can have it but not every day

It was a great surprise that we were able to have cheap but really tasty pinchos around a tourist destination! Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Gaztelugatxe to try this restaurant!

Great view and succulent food in a pristine area of San Juan de Gaztelugatx a site of Game of Thrones series. Good access and parking with an entry trail to climb to the island through an incredible bridge.

Great view and food. Loved the soup (broth)... spicy beef... yum!

Cash only. They accepted American dollars because we were out of euros.

I 3 pinchos and 2 ice cream and I payed 20 euro. All the pinchos tasted amazing. After a long trip to gatzelugatze this is a life saver
