Absolutely fantastic experience. I've been here for afternoon tea - which was incredible and all homemade and delicious - and also for the Dine & Stay, which was equally as amazing. The rooms are luxurious and spotlessly clean. I felt like a princess in the Terraza Suite with the big bed and lovely bathroom. Definitely recommend staying here for anyone who is looking for a top quality room with amazing views, pool access and incredible hospitality. Katie made us all feel right at home. 😊

Really lovely place to spend a day and evening. Second time we have stayed and it won’t be the last. Katie is an amazing host, always there if you need her but you really feel like the place is all yours. Top quality food. Rooms brilliant and excellent value for money. The afternoon teas at La Meseta are the best in Almería and beyond. Katie makes everything fresh on the day, nothing is pre-bought. She caters for most (if not all) dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten-free, and there are no poor, hastily thought out substitutes. If you need a varation, you get exactly the same quality and presentation as the regular menu. The food speaks for itself, but if you need an added incentive to visit, the location is a huge bonus. In fine weather, teas are served on the beautiful terrace with stunning views of the Med and the whitewashed village of Bedar. If the weather doesn't allow, tea is served in the indoor dining room, and there's a cosy lounge to relax in that rivals any five star hotel. It's a luxury experience that you won't forget, and you'll be dreaming of the food for days after. Prices make it an affordable treat, and the quality and setting provide a perfect experience for any special occasion.

We did dine and stay last weekend, I can say we had a lovely,relaxing time. From when we arrived Katie the host was friendly and attentive. She showed us to our room which was lovely, spacious, bright, big bed, mirrors where they should be to do hair and makeup and plug points properly positioned next to mirror for hairdryer, ladies will know this sort of thing is important! We also had a lovely well appointed bathroom with a large walking shower that has toiletries provided. Then fir our suite, we ha had an exclusive sitting room with coffee making machine and views to sit and wonder at.
The food was lovely, plenty if food, some complimentary drinks on arrival and pre diner, cooking was homemade and fab. Breakfast was amazing, and we had shred tapas plates in the afternoon as well which was stupendous. All in all, a lovely break away, well catered and cared for in peaceful surroundings. Absolutely amazing experience . Katie and Dean have a beautiful home, two fantastic guest suites with breathtaking views and Katie’s baking is truly awesome . I’m not really a cake person but she has completely changed that ! She has now made me 2 fantastic chocolate birthday cakes yum, and her Afternoon Tea is a lovely experience & a wonderful way to relax and be fed in beautiful surroundings .. first class xx

Had afternoon tea today. Informed them I was Gluten Intolerant in advance, and wow the afternoon tea looked and tasted fabulous, home made aswell which was a delight. The portion size was perfect aswell.
We had our mulled wine on the sunny terrace where the views are just fantastic.
The experience was perfect from the welcome to the goodbye and a very decent price.
If you haven't been, it's a must do.

No. 1 La Meseta, a touch of paradise in Bedar...if your looking for a nice weekend break or a tranquil week or two this is the place to go. We went for a week and from the minute we walked in we were made to feel special, the food Kate makes is amazing but if you want a short walk for some superb tapas and wine then it's all there. The suite we stayed in was pure luxury with views to match with breakfast looking out to the Med........we have already booked back up, a destination and bed and breakfast you will not be disappointed with.....5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every time

Lovely location, lovely hostess, stunning scenery. High tea lived up to expectations. B&B suites are very spacious with a mixture of modern and rustic, with views to either the valley or the sea.

While away your afternoon basking in glorious sunshine, indulging in a sumptuous afternoon tea (sweet or savoury) being waited on hand and foot. Beautiful B&B in quiet area of Bedar with wonderful views towards Mojacar. Enjoyed the Dine and Stay package with good quality food and drink before, during and after dinner as well as a lovely breakfast. Room was extremely comfortable with spacious en suite and private terrace. Everything designed to a high spec. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

An amazing afternoon, with unbelievable homemade food, great hospitality from Katie would highly recommend if you want top quality food and amazing views, third time there and never fails to impress already looking for a return visit.

In the middle of the mountains, a beautiful experience of after noon tea. Mulled wine,spicy carrot soup and a cake stand of total yummies. We'll done Katie 💯👌

Had a couple of totally amazing cocktail nights at la Meseta. Fabulous venue and Katie is the most accommodating and awesome host. I would highly recommend..
