A hidden gem

A beautiful vista on a wonderfully shaded porch. We only stopped briefly after a walk around Bédar looking at the levadas which I highly recommend! The owner was very kind and welcoming, and the tapas looked delicious although we only had a couple of lemon ice creams and a coffee.

The best fish soup, leg of lamb and patatas a la pobre I've had anywhere! Super friendly owners and staff, family business that we have known for over 22 years and always wonderful.

Fantastic food. Fantastic views and service, this has gone straight to my number one place in the Los Gallardos, Mojacar and Garrucha area. The shoulder of lamb was absolutely delicious with the potatoes pobre a perfect combination....for 2 people but enough for 4

We visited yesterday for lunch with family. I had seen a great review from someone on a local ( fuente Alamo ) FB group.
We had been to Mojacar first and it was about a 20 minute drive from there. Definitely worth it. We had a table on the terrace. Stunning views with a fresh breeze. The food was top notch ( paella/pizzas) Even the alioli was a cut above. The entire restaurant was spotless. The service was very attentive. My little dog was welcomed too.
It's a good hour and 20 minutes drive from us but we will return. Thank you for a great experience.

Amazing food, great value for money. Paella was amazing, bread was warm and possibly homemade. Fantastic selection of home made desserts. Dog friendly area in the bar and outside terrace. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommended

It has been a long time since we last visited, but the owners recognised us and we had a chat about old times.

You just have to try the roast lamb dish as it is superb. My husband and I always share the shoulder of lamb with chips when we are in Bedar as you cannot beat it. The quantity and quality of the lamb is spot on and the flavour cannot be replicated. The location is wonderful if you want a fabulous view and the owners are attentive.

Been eating here for 22 years...the best restaurant in Almeria province by far. Fantastic views, service and the leg of lamb is a must.

Despite the terrible weather outside our lunch club had a fabulous meal, two of us enjoying their famous leg of lamb and the rest of us, a very good with varied choices, menu del día. A year later beautiful blue sky, fantastic views and another fabulous meal.

Overlooking a dramatic and stunning vista, this delicious traditional Spanish restaurant was spectacular; in terms of both cuisine and service. Thoroughly recommend the paella de mariscos and the paletilla de cordero al horno (lamb). Definitely go here!

Great food and service. The staff were brilliant considering we were a group of 54! Everyone who had them raved over the pig's cheeks. The location is idyllic with views down to the Mediterranean. A bit of a hairy drive up to the village but well worth the journey. Do go you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic food, stunning views. Still as good since my first visit 18yrs ago.just revisited 2024 1st March. Still very high standard. Beware ,it fills quickly lemon meringue very tasty and light.....yummy.

We only stayed for a drink but they do serve tapas.
