We stayed for a week in the lovely town of Bubion in Casa de la Luz. The apartment is very spacious and nicely furnished, with everything you need to self cater, although the local restaurants are wonderful. The bathroom is large and has a great shower. The terrace overlooks the village and is a wonderful place to sit with a glass of wine after hiking. Inside is a fireplace with wood provided for cooler nights. The owners Janny and Manuel are so hospitable and helpful, and great fun to have a drink with in a one of the village bars. Highly recommended, we will be returning.

Last time we spend our holiday in Casa de la Luz. This holiday home is located on a beautiful spot on the outskirts of the charming village of Bubión overlooking both the snowy mountains of the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean (when the weather is clear). The equally beautiful mountain villages Capileira and Pampaneira are within walking distance and nearby you will find even more charming villages and excellent hiking options.
You can easily make a day trip to the coast or Granada from Bubión and even a (mid) day of skiing in the Sierra Nevada ( about 1.5 hour drive) is possible .
On the spacious terrace of Casa de la Luz you can enjoy the sun and the view of the village, valley and mountains.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in een vakantiehuis van Le Chien Andalous. De informatie over het huis klopte, de bemiddeling verliep vlot en soepel, alle lof voor deze vakantieorganisatie.

Estuvimos con la familia cuatro días en la casa de La Luz, en Bubión, y tenemos que decir que la casa es muy cómoda, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días inolvidables, cocina completa con menaje, baño, dos habitaciones con camas muy cómodas y un salón con chimenea y calefacción central, con una terraza que es lo mejor de la casa donde desayunar al sol y con unas espectaculares vistas al campo y a las montañas de la La Alpujarra que te hacen sentir el cuerpo y el alma confortados con la magia del lugar. Manuel y Jannie son los dueños, encantadores, siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad que te pueda surgir Solo podemos recomendar sincera y enérgicamente esta Casa de La Luz. La Alpujarra es una visita obligada para quien aún no la conozca: Capilera, Campaneira, sus calles, su comida, sus bares, su artesanía, el campo...
